LilyAna Naturals Retinol Face Cream - Anti Aging Moisturizer, Wrinkle Reducer, Made in USA - 1oz

I’m not really one for writing reviews. The only other retinol product I’ve ever used was the one by Drunk Elephant which I really did not enjoy at all. I decided to give this retinol cream a try since I just turned 30 years old and this product was affordable with 30,000 reviews.I have oily and dry combination skin where my forehead, nose and cheeks get very oily during the day. This cream is pretty thick and it does feel moisturizing and nourishing. It says to use it twice a day but even with a mattifying sunscreen, it still left me incredibly greasy during the daytime, so using it once a day works for me. I like to use this product at night before going to bed. It doesn’t have an added scent to it. It does smell similar to a cream I’ve tried from Cetaphil though, so if you have a strong nose, it’s a very light scent. There’s also no burning or tingly sensation from the retinol itself, which is really nice compared to the retinol serum I had from Drunk Elephant. It gives me more of incentive to keep using it :) My skin isn’t very sensitive so I can’t say much for whether it would work for sensitive skin. The best part about using this product every night for the past week was that the large pores on my oily cheeks are distinctly smaller within a couple days of using it. Is it an effect of retinol? Or an effect of how nourished my skin got overnight while I slept with the cream? Who knows? I am loving how my skin looks though!I bought this in 0.5 fl oz to try it out originally. Once I run out, I will definitely repurchase in a larger size :)

I used this retinol cream for over two weeks before coming to the conclusion it would not work for my skin. I had been using retinol for a year before trying this, so it shouldn't have taken my skin any longer than that to adjust.I have sensitive skin, but rarely have breakouts. Within a week of using this product I had deep pimples around my chin, bumps all along my forehead, and redness all over face (as pictured). I wanted to like this product, but unfortunately I think it's the worst cream I've ever used.

How can this be marketed as the same product I bought last time? Gone are the organic ingredients and they added a ton more ingredients that didn't used to be in this product. All the reasons I used to buy this are now gone. Im really disappointed. I will be returning it. Compare the two ingredient lists in the photos...blue label is the new one and white one is the old one.

I'm not sure how much retinol this actually contains, but I have to say, this is the best facial cream I have ever used. I was concerned that having very fair skin would irritate, but it's pretty good. Redness is very minimal and doesn't last very long. It leaves my face very soft.

I'm on my second purchase now and I highly recommend it. Looking into retinol products I came across this and it does the trick well. I can't say I have sensitive skin though, I don't have any outbreaks of any kind and I've not experienced any negative side-effects. I do try to follow the recommendation though from the start and apply sunscreen anytime I'm outside for prolonged periods.
