Q: Will this shelf rust?

I haven't had any issues with rust, i'm using mine for hydroponic gardening, and i will admit i'm not the neatest when filling it XD. But until I got mats I had been using cardboard (which holds water) to prevent soakage of electrical equipment below each area (incase of spillage). When I was using the cardboard I would wipe up any water spill, and the cardboard would dry out. Lifting the cardboard to replace it after a year hasn't yielded any actual rust. While i'm not saying it's not impossible, I am saying it's probably going to rely more on your application and how you use it. If your thinking high humidy in say a laundry room, I think they will be fine. But if your doing a greenhouse with an auto-sprayer you might want to consider and go with steel.

Yes, you can. Simply use the number of shelves you want. There is a top and a bottom shelf, and the in between shelves can be added as desired.
