I wanted to try drinking a shot of olive oil a day but I'm a cheapskate and the stuff which is high in antioxidants can be quite pricey.After spending a bit of time looking at the various options from reviews I found this one which is considerably cheaper than the others whilst still high in antioxidants.Tastewise it's fine as is. Sometimes I'll grind a bit of rock salt to add, which lifts the flavour. Some people add lemon juice but it's fine as it is without having to get something else to enhance it.One time in an Italian restaurant, while waiting for the meal, we were given a basket of bread and saucers of olive oil with ground black pepper to dip the bread into. When my main arrived I barely touched it as the bread was so delicious with olive oil like that and I think we had the bread refilled at least once.I haven't tried it with this olive oil, but if you have a nice rustic bread to dip, I reckon it would be fantastic with this evoo.

This stuff is the Real Deal. I'm taking one desert spoonful per day, gulp, straight down. Monitoring for any perceived health benefits. Not wasting it on culinary stuff, not at this price. Only being used to the usual thin not very tasty supermarket olive oil I was so surprised when I gulped down my first spoonful. Viscous and creamy smooth and Oh So spicy tasting. Blew me away. Love it. Let's hope it really does give the health benefits touted for it. 🙂

The flavour is mild and makes a fine dressing for salads.

Very good olive oil, especially if you have inflammation issues throughout the body! It's expensive but well worth it!

I was nervous about opening the first can as the plastic mechanism did not look all that robust - but my fears were groundless as the slim pull ring was far stronger than its appearance suggested, and withstood being wriggled and twisted in order to make the plug rise up. Less than one and a half turns of the ring was enough to remove the resealable cap, and gentle pouring resulted in total control with not a drop spilled.The taste was nothing like the supermarket Evoo (sourced from 5 different countries) I have grown used to and may need acquiring.I bought this brand primarily for health reasons rather than to embellish salads so taste was not a priority for me and as such it is too early to say if I will notice any difference but my hopes are high based on what my pre-purchase research showed.

A lovely extra virgin olive oil which I purchased after reading of the health benefits from good natural oil.I enjoy this drizzled on foods, also add a tablespoon daily to milk in a frother for a smooth coffee, not for some I’m sure but I like it and it helps gauge a regular amount to get the benefits that are claimed.Have I noticed an any benefits!Not as yet but all said I like this stuff and enjoy incorporating it into daily life.

I was surprised to find this olive oil is quite mild in flavour and not much of a peppery kick. I do hope that despite this it is high inphenols as promised in the description!

Very peppery taste when taken neat, I'm using it to assist with knee problems. One tot a day drunk raw before breakfast and it seems to have made an improvement in standing pain but as yet no major improvement in knee strength. Will continue to use as pain relief is very welcome.
