Five Stars
These balls work great at building arm strength while not being to heavy for a 7 year old.

Great balls
Bought these weighted balls in an attempt to have my son hit the ball more consistently and harder. They definitely helped him drive the ball!!

Nice training baseballs -- good weight and feel
I wasn't entirely sure how these would work out, as compared to just regular hardballs. But they've been quite nice -- nice weight to them for playing catch, and satisfying experience hitting them with a bat. I've mostly used them to throw around and they have a good feel.As an added bonus, I have one of the set at work to use as a stress ball. Obviously not a main use case for these, but it's fun to toss to myself in my office or squeeze. The weight makes it feel like I'm doing mini wrist/hand exercises too. They are designed sturdy and seem like they will hold up a long time. Good quality product all around!

Perfect for follow through work!
I play on a men's recreational softball league, and learning how to properly hit an underhand softball throw is challenging. The ball itself doesn't have much momentum, so you really have to swing hard. Part of this is using your body-weight to slam the ball.. which is exactly what this teaches. Each ball is significantly heavier than a baseball or softball, so when following through, after contact, this helps teach to use the whole body, not just arms. They don't travel far or fast, making it ideal for continuous practice. They are bright orange, shiny, and smaller than a softball (probably closer to a baseball). It comes in a 3 pack. I wish I tried these earlier - it seems like it will help our team understand the leg and hip movement to create the most power in the swing. I really enjoy Franklin Sports MLB Weighted Training Baseballs + Softballs – Pack of 3 and would highly recommend for swing-training at any 'person-pitch' age!

Good batting and throwing training ball
I've tried a few of these in the past without being too impressed. This one works pretty good. Feels like it is a quality product and works well for light warmup ball tossing and for batting practice in a small area. Fits nicely in the hand. Seems like it is just the right size for youth and adult. A little big for the newbies.Like most of these you have to hit it dead center to feel like you are hitting it, but that is the idea isn't it. Travels a little farther than the others I've tried when hit precisely, not sure whether that is good or bad, but actually gives you a sense of some distance which I liked.5 stars for now.

Happy with these.
I got these weighted balls for informal winter batting practice here at the house. I really didn't understand what they were before giving them a try. They seem to be well made and the bright color does make them stand out (just don't let a dog get involved).

Do NOT buy! Disappointed…don’t waste your money!
Do NOT buy! My kids used them once as intended and the plug came out and all the sand emptied out! Disappointed…don’t waste your money!

Purchased twice- plug breaks easily
I have purchased 2 sets of these. The plug that holds the weight in falls out too easily making the powder come out and the balls useless. Buy a different brand. These were used properly and hit maybe 50 times by my 11 year old.

WRONG picture
First, I am a travel team baseball coach. We use various weighted balls for hitting. Specifically use the small red/orange 12.5oz balls that are size of baseballs, and these Franklin 12.5oz orange balls the size used is softball. I ordered a 6 pack as well as this 3 pack to supplement what we need. The 6 pack as expected, but the 3 pack was the small 12.5 oz balls. So the picture is WRONG and MISLEADING. Second, I informed amazon when I returned that they sent me the wrong ones and that I was expecting the larger orange ones. I then reordered thinking they made an error. They again sent me a 3 pack of the small ones. I sent back again and complained offering my email and for them to contact me. No response....that was 4 days ago. NOT IMPRESSED.
