Works as advertised.
Does the job - holds up well and kind of catches the ball in the netting. Easy to set up - not bad looking-

My grandson loves this for practicing basketball shots on the driveway
This net attaches easily to the pole for the basketball goal. It opens wide to catch shots that are off just a bit and rolls the ball back to the shooter. I pared this with a Spaulding Back Atchha ball return for shots that go through the basket. My grandson loves this combination when he visits us and wants to get out of the house. He can play by himself, as well as with friends, and doesn’t have to chase errant balls. The net folds up against the pole when he’s done playing. I’m quite pleased with this net.

Decent backstop net for the money
We purchased this to replace a storm-damaged net that was 8 years old and quite a bit more expensive, hoping it would be adequate for our needs. We have a Lifetime Mammoth in-ground backstop with a square pole, and it appears it will work. Assembly was more frustrating than we expected, especially since we have assembled many items the past 25 years. A couple of clarifications for the directions hopefully will help others.1. The large brackets go against the pole with the flat side out. We placed the lower bracket as far down as possible, then measured 46” from the base of the bracket up the pole to place the upper bracket. Use a piece of paint tape or masking tape to mark the pole. The base of the upper bracket will be right at the 46” mark. Remove the pins prior to attaching the nets.2. The nets are easier to install if you lay them out flat to orient them before attempting to install. The buckle straps obviously go toward the middle (pole) and pole pocket on the bottom. Insert the shorter two poles in the lower pockets and then attach to the post brackets. At this point, we found it easier to go ahead and connect the lower 1” strap to help support the nets as you work your way up the pole. Then insert the two long upper rods in the top corner pockets and the corresponding post brackets.3. Connect the upper 1” strap around the pole pulling the net taut. (The nets are going to look floppy until the remaining bungee straps are installed.) We started at the bottom and worked our way up to the top, smoothing out the net as we went. When we finished, the nets looked as expected, taut and smooth.Takeaways: Quality (4), Performance (4), Fit (4), Appearance (4), Value (5).Is it worth $129? Yes. Durability is unknown but should be improved by storing the nets with the included pins. Is it fancy? No, but it gets the job done.

Does what it should
We purchase or our hoop since it's on a grassy hill. It did take 2 people to install but did not take long. Serves the purpose and so far holding up in the weather. You can easily lift up the sides or take them down.

Poor instructions and broken parts
This started out great. Instructions were not good but my husband and I are well versed in assembling products with 7 grown kids under our belt! There were a couple of pieces that were broken - but we managed with other replacements we have have already on hand. The biggest problem was the top center of the net - there were no instructions on how to attach to either the pole or one another and no apparent way to do so. We managed to make it work, again with parts we have on hand and crafting our own way. But we are truly disappointed that we purchased a product that is advertised as easy to assemble and all parts included - definitely not the case. I wanted to return it but it was going to be a headache getting it all back in the box to ship back so we are sucking it for now but assume it will be replaced with a better product in the very near future. Doesn’t seem strong enough to withstand much. Very disappointed.

Excellent quality and simple, easy to install, no tools needed.
Bought a couple of these nets for our home basketball court. One was installed on a vertical cylindrical post ant the other on a square inclined post, as shown in the pic. Both work great and were easy to install. Kids like them and look great.

Grandson’s birthday gift.
My grandson (15) loves this net. He doesn’t have to chase the ball all over the yard. Easy to install (he did it himself) and conveniently folds up when not needed. Worth every Penny!
