Bought this device a few weeks back, during a brief September Sunny Spell. It worked great - happily driving a USB fan, and charging my devices while I was using them in the garden.BUT - just like when (as a teenager), I was given my first Golf Umbrella, and then it didn't rain for about 3 months (or so it seemed), the day after this solar cell arrived, and I gave it the first testing, the Sun went on its hollibobs, and we had weeks of grey skies, and drizzle/rain/worse.Hey, that's life. But the IMPORTANT bits for YOU:1) It WORKS GREAT - if you have the sunshine!2) It has USB-A Socket, and NOT some bespoke cable or connector, so it WILL work with ALL your stuff3) Seems VERY tough, and a total Dead-Cert addition to my Holiday EDCAnd come next Summer, if the SUN returns - also end-of-Garden duty.Actually, I kinda just love it. Everything it should be, but nothing more. 5 stars with sparkly FX!

I am so happy with this purchase. I was recently camping and hiking for 3 weeks and I knew only around half of the campsites would have electricity. This little gadget kept my phone and power bank fully topped up. In full sun it was charging quicker than having the things plugged into the wall! It even charged at a reasonable rate in cloudy but bright conditions. It's lightweight, sturdy, and the design makes it easy to strap to the outside of your rucksack while hiking. A really great little solar panel.

It is slow in gentle sun but it does work. Remember to put the gadget being charged (phone?) in shade or covered.

This was great for charging up power bars/banks in the summer when camping. Left it hanging on the tent plugged in to my power bank come the evening I could charge mine and my husbands phones, I carried on using it at home to charge the banks too as ment I was spending less on the electric. Definitely recommend

Bought this for camping to charge a 10000mAh power bank while we’re out and about. Tested it on the garden on a bright sunny day in direct sunlight and it charged to about 50% after 5 hours which isn’t much different from plugging via usb! Tried next day in cloudy conditions and it still charged to about 35%.Don’t expect it to be able to charge multiple devices but it’s good enough to keep you topped up

Struggled in full sun to actually work very slow charge but as a back up ok keeps stopping charge shall have another play about with it

Took the 10w version hiking. Mixed sun and overcast. Using the phone infrequently the battery dropped from 60% to 32% over 4 hours.The next day the panel was connected for around 12 hrs - phone in flight mode, max battery saving- dropped to 8%, shutting down all apps it managed to charge from 8% to 30% over about 8 hrs.In summary this panel isn't fit for purpose as it can't even maintain the battery at the same level when using the phone infrequently.Returned for a refund and bought a BIG BLUE instead which is much better ;-)
