Horrible New Recipe
I ordered these cans not knowing that this is not the same product I've been buying which has the words "Simple Origins Farm Raised Chicken & Sweet Potato Recipe" on the front of the package. When I opened it, I saw that it looks different (rather gross) and smells awful. I put it in the cat's dish and the cat was purring and excited to eat. The cat smelled it, stopped purring, and walked away refusing to eat it. I have two other cats and I offered it to them and they reacted in exactly the same way. I cannot return this 12-can package because now one can is used up, so I will be throwing this crap in the trash can. I won't even donate it to Goodwill or a homeless pet shelter because I suspect this lousy food will end up poisoning some innocent animal. I am unable to find the words to express how unhappy I am with this product and the loss of $13.

My rescue cat comes running when she smells it & even just hearing the can pop-top open!
A friend gave me a few cans of this & my cat loved it. She mainly eats dry food but every few days she gets this as a treat (dry is better for their teeth), especially if she hears a soup can pop-top open, so we give her what we laughingly call "cat soup." The cans are pretty small & pricey, but so madly in love with this latest rescue cat (please rescue!) that we do it. The first flavor I ordered was duck & sweet potatoes which I'd never imagined as a cat food flavor! They are wheat-free. I didn't realize that kitties could be sensitive to gluten, but why not if I/we can! This & a new brand of dry food (is it rude/not-allowed by Amazon/or better to name other brands?) that is wheat-free have vastly improved uber stinky poops, diarrhea, & pooping outside the box. I look forward to trying other flavors. Mrrowprrt!

Happy at first, then totally disapointed
I switched from a less expensive grain free canned food to this and my cat immediately loved all the flavors. Took about a month and kitty started struggling to poop. I noticed her squatting in my living room and chased her to the litter box, which is not normal unless something is bothering her. Then, I noticed she had a light clay color and very dry stool left on my floor another day. Took her to the vet, they recommended to switch back to the old food. It has taken about a week and finally the stool is back to almost normal, and she is back to the litter box. So, I guess I will have to give up on the convenience of easily accessible grocery store food, and back to ordering online. So disappointed, especially with all the great reviews on this, and being so expensive.

Good, affordable food cats like, but one can was damaged :(
My cats like the cat food, but one of the cans was partially open and juices had leaked out. I didn't notice because it was under the cardboard divider, on the bottom layer of cans. Days later I wondered what smelled so bad in the cat room, and narrowed it down to the that case of canned food. I removed all the cans in the top layer and saw that the cardboard divider had soaked up some sort of liqud -- from underneath! Was grossed out to see little worms in the liquid ooze on one of the little bottom cans! Fortunately the rotten-ness was contained to just from one can, but the little worms were spreading around all over... *gag*I realize this isn't a reflection on the product itself, and stuff can happen to cans, especially pop-top type. But I wasn't able to leave seller feedback for this vendor, so I thought I'd mention it here. BTW, the other case of another flavor of cat food that was shipped with it was in perfect condition.

Dented cans
When I bought a few cans of the Beyond food from a local store my cat really liked the food, and when I bought from Chewy she had the same reaction. However, this order wasn’t near to her liking. It took me several cans to figure out why she would eat it sometimes but not always. Although the cans were in a box, about half of them had small dents. Those were the ones she refused to eat. Either it was a weird coincidence or there was enough damage to the cans that affected the food in some way. The cans were still sealed but something was different enough that the cat refused it.
