Thank you for your interest in WEREWOLVES climbing rope. The maximum support force of the rope is 15KN, and the maximum support force of the carabiner is 25KN. Our carabiner and climbing rope have passed the audit. The standard for climbing rope is EN 892:2012 issued by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, and the standard for carabiner audit is ASTM F1774 issued by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.

Q: What's the diameter of the rope for using it with a pulley?

8 mm equals 5/16", so a pulley that is built to accept 5/16" or 3/8" rope or cable would be about right. Be aware that this rope has a metal loop built into both ends, so most standard pulleys of that small size won't have a throat large enough to let those loops pass through. You will have to use a pulley that comes apart and you can put the loop through and then reassemble the pulley. Or you can use a larger pulley that has more room between the wheel and the frame that will allow the loop to go through. I see no reason that a pulley made for larger rope/cable would not work for 5/16" rope.

Q: What material is the carabiner and is there a certificate?

This carabiner is made of stainless steel and are very strong. I asked the seller if he could provide a certificate. They provided an ASTM F1774 certificate issued by a laboratory accredited by ILAC ISO 17025.
