Perfect smart lock
Love a smart home and have been after a decent smart home lock for ages. The Nuki lock is perfect for uk pvc doors that you have to lift the handle on to lock.Easy installation however you will need either the Nuki barrel lock or a lock that you have have the key in and use from both sides.Batteries last for a long while about 6 months but would recommend rechargeable.Perfect if you have kids so they never loss a key again.

Great Smart Lock
The media could not be loaded. Works well with HomeKit and I like the Widget.

Easy installation love the hands free feature.
Great lock. It's a bit noisy but works as described. Love that it knows I'm home and unlocks automatically. The downside to this system is that you have to buy all the bits as addons to get full functionality which can add up fast.Installation was a breeze.Recommend it overall.

Easy to install
I really liked how easy it was to install and set up to iphone app and Apple Homekit. No need for a Nuki Bridge if you just want to use with phone locally or you have an Apple Homepod. Good value and happy so far.

Flimsy.
Just installed the lock as per instructions. The locks just called off the mounting frame easily. To the point that when the door is closed from outside, it fell off on the inside making it rather useless.Poor quality.Have heard nothing from Nuki.Don’t waste your money.

Really happy - much better than Yale Connexis and Danalock
I used to have a Yale Connexis L2 and before that a Danalock. This smart lock blows both of them out of the water. Newer tech certainly helps (Matter) but the app is also on point. Great feature that the Nuki has is the ability to use a normal lock in the door and key - adding a 3 star lock makes the front door super secure and at worst case, should the batteries run out or there be a tech issue the key is a great fall back.So far, I have connected this lock with Home Assistant and works very well. It is also connected to Apple Home and again works very well.Because this isn't the Pro model, I was less than impressed having to pay a top up fee to enable Nuki Web/remote access - the lock has the remote access capability built in but you need to pay to be able to use the app outside the home. Yes you can integrate the lock with Apple Home/Google Home/Alexa to be able to see lock status however you cant beat the Nuki app. I dont think this feature should be behind a pay wall.Battery life so far isnt too bad from the AA batteries. Dont think I would buy the Nuki battery as it takes about 15 hours to fully charge (or means leaving a battery pack hanging from the lock while the battery pack charges the Nuki battery). The price difference between 4 AA batteries and the Nuki battery pack means it will take some time to break even cost wise.Sharing the app/lock capabilities to others is straight forward from inside the app.I don't use the bluetooth proximity features of the app (auto unlock when returning home) - BLE is just far too flaky to be reliable from my own experiences with pervious smart locks - this one may be different but Im not interested in finding out - Home Assistant/Apple Home does a much better job.The only thing that the Yale beats this lock with is no door sensing built in to the Nuki - you need to buy an additional module for the lock to understand if the door is open and so that the lock then doesnt try to auto lock after a set period of time. With the additional module, the Nuki is aware the door has been left open for longer than your set auto lock period. This means when you do close the door the Nuki can do its bit locking the door. I feel this module should be included in the Nuki box by default hence only giving it 4 stars. If the Nuki had a way of knowing the door status out of the box I wouldnt hesitate to give it a 5 star review. After market support so far also seems to be on point - I am on the Nuki Developer site and any questions asked get picked up fairly promptly.Overall, this smart lock is well worth the investment, even more so when it is on offer.

Not so sure it's an improvement
So I already had 2.0 so didn't need to buy the bridge again but one thing I think is a step backwards is that little black square you can see to the right of my handle, version 2.0 came with this and it allowed you to set a longer time for lock and go but once you closed the door it would lock.Version 3.0 has a separate £40 option on top of what I think was already a more expensive lock so I have reduced the lock and go time to 10 seconds so I'm not waiting around forever to make sure my door did lock. I know it tells you it locked but I always like hearing the lock behind me so now I have to either pay £40 for a rather large looking sensor, or only press the lock and go button after I am sure we have everything in the morning because it will now lock after a short 10 seconds. This may seem a little bit whinging for something that may not seem like a big deal but that sensor is actually really useful for lock and go. I know if my door is open from other sensors I have in my security system so I literally only want it for the lock and go.Anyway, rant over. If you are looking at a smart lock for the first time, this is in my opinion the best on the market, it is super easy to fit and use but I would suggest you either buy 3.0 Pro with built in WiFi or the separate bridge as the auto unlock and ability to see the status remotely and even lock and unlock remotely are why you really buy a smart lock, without that, it's a little pointless so make sure you don't buy this solo thinking it will do everything for £130.I have given this 4 stars at the minute but I have just received it and it may go down if that sensor proves to irritate me too much and make me fork out a further £40 making this a more costly option than other brands out there, if I hadn't already had the bridge I think it may have been returned.
