Does it w
Works as advertised and the case serves as leverage to screw into the soil. Logic says in sun baked soil it will be much harder to get into the soil -Maybe impossible so don’t expect a miracle 😊.

Great stake, but need to figure out tube storage.
Stake held up to abuse from use as a dog tie anchor. Lost the tube, so had to remove from yard with a 3’ piece of pvc.Have not tried in sand.

Sturdy and easy to use
Worked great for our umbrella/tent at the beach. The ones the tent came with did not feel secure. Bought a set of these and they held the tent down great on a very windy beach day.

Worked great for my needs
I needed something to make a hole in the ground for my solar lights. I screw this in and pull it up to remove the dirt. Then repeat until the hole is deep enough for the solar light stake.

Great to stake out my tarp in most soils
These don't pull out as easily as metal stakes and withstand strong wind well. In very hard ground I can't get this in easily and switch to titanium tent nails hammered into the ground, but in normal ground these are my favourite and most reliable stakes. I have used these on many camping trips and I intend to keep on using them. They are a bit bulkier than metal stakes and heavier than light weight aluminium or titanium stakes, but in softer soils they hold better.

Fine for dirt, not for sandy beaches in the wind.
I found they weren't suitable for tethering down an Easy-up style shade in the wind if you are at the beach. The spikes are not wide enough to withstand the pull and they come right out toppling the shade. Otherwise I think they would be fine in dirt. Not sand.

Just trying to get the sellers attention
In 25 mph winds, the orange screw snapped leaving the screw in the ground and the anchor point still tied to a rope flapping around like a projectile. How do I go about getting a replacement?
