It is very lightweight and easy to handle. It is made of stainless steel and so cleaning is also easy. It however has a couple of issues. The handle is smooth and does not provide a good grip especially if your hand is wet. The shovel and pickaxe end carry unequal amounts of weight on either side and so feels a bit unbalanced especially when you first start to use it and the heavier end which is the shovel end tends to drop down to the ground even if you want to use the pickaxe end. However, as you use it more and more, you learn how to use it and so it becomes less of a problem. The grip is still an issue and you need to make sure that it does not slip out of your hands to go and strike anyone close. It is a very sharp instrument and so it can become a deadly weapon if you are not careful.Recommended with these reservations.

Very useful mini garden tool. Very lightweight. The point not great for anything hard .as tends to bend a little. Good for just raking up the ground good reach on it .

Why has it taken me so long to find a hand tool for the garden that totally suits my needs. It’s amazing! Light but really strong and comfortable to handle. All my trowels and wot not are second choice to this beast. No need to jump on my spade to get through tough roots, just chop away with the blade and turn it around to use the pointy end to finish the job! Highly recommended.

materials could have been more substantial

I’m not very strong and my soil is heavy clay which can become very compact. This great tool made easy work of digging in and getting the weeds up where as before all i could do was chop them off at soil level. Absolutely love it.
