I’ve used it every day for (4) years
Updated: recently I purchased a 2nd one of these chairs. Not to replace the first one I bought in 2018, but because I like that chair so much I wanted to have another. My opinion remains high. It’s a great if basic chair, but capable of more than I assumed before I injured my back last month. The seat actually has lumbar and hips support contouring built into the cushion and its housing. Properly positioning the backrest in relationship to the seat does create significant support! The manufacturer only eludes to this, but I say that proper adjustment can actually make a huge difference. NOW I understand why I can sit in this chair for hours and never feel pain back, hip or leg pain, or chair fatigue! The backrest has minimal positioning options, a small range of in/out and up/down, from its basic position which is already at the lumbar. I am 5’8 and 160 lbs and for me, it’s easy to dial the backrest into a position that (together with the subtle contours built into the seat) support the lumbar area of my spine, my tailbone, waist and hips..Properly positioned, the user is put sitting with good posture, lumbar is supported, there’s nowhere for your tailbone to slump into and the base of the spine and hips properly accommodated. In response to a few other reviewers, I have never experienced any wobble, instability or creaking. The hydraulic cylinder mechanism used to adjust height is solid, no slippage. Among all the chairs I’ve owned in life, I consider this one to be the most stable. The sitting cushion on the one I purchased in 2018 (which has seen hundreds of hours use) is just as robust in 2023 as it was 5 years ago, and I was able confirm that when comparing it to the new one I purchased in 2023.Originally, i just wanted a strong simple chair with no armrests and a great seat cushion that would not go flat in a few months. This chair is that and a whole lot more.

Might be okay for a very small person
I'm 6'4" and was looking to replace a chair I've had for a number of years. My old one was a cheapy task chair I got at an office supply store on sale, probably a decade ago. The seat had long since gone flat, but other than that, it worked for the size, space, and functionality I needed. This looked like a big step up from what I had in terms of quality, the product dimensions in the description were good, and the reviews were glowing, so I took the plunge and finally ordered myself a new chair.I used to work somewhere where I had to assemble a lot of office furniture, especially office chairs, so other than the assembly of the back being less than intuitive, setup wasn't difficult.During assembly, it became evident that the adjustments for the back's height and depth were incredibly limited, so much so that I took those sections apart again to make sure there wasn't something I was missing. What seemed like should have been their shallowest positions were actually their deepest. Then I took it into my office, put it in front of my desk, and sat on it.The seat on this thing is shockingly small. Much smaller than it was on my cheapo old chair. The product dimensions list it as 25x25", which should have made it a bit bigger than my old one . Instead, it is much smaller, maybe 18x18", if that. The back sits so close to the seat that you actually lose at least a couple of inches of deapth, so the usable space is probably only 15 or 16 inches, front-to-back. A good office chair should reach to about the back of the user's knee if they're sitting with their bottom all the way back in the seat. This is several inches short of that (I am 6'4" but not particularly long-legged for my height), and even narrower. I feel like I'm going to fall off this thing the whole time I'm using it.Even if one assumes they meant the overall dimensions of the chair were 25x25" depth and width, I got out the taper measurer and confirmed it falls several inches short in each of those dimensions. The 25x25" number is a flat-out lie. It's so far off I contacted customer support just to make sure I'd been sent the right chair. It also doesn't feature a tilt, which I found a little surprising, as few office chairs lack that feature. I'm not sure whether I'd be able to live without that feature, but it became a moot point once I discovered that the chair is far too small regardless. If you're maybe 5'8" or under, and don't want to be able to lean back in your chair, this might work for you. It seems to be decently made, from my brief time trying to use it. It's just nowhere near as big as the product page says it is, and won't work for anyone of average or better height, unless you feel like spending your workday trying to keep from slipping off one or more sides of your chair.
