Biona Pear Puree Organic 350g - Pack of 6

We buy a lot of this as I use it for baking as an egg replacement.It's also delicious to eat straight from the jar.While it says yo discard 3 days after opening I frequently eat it for several days after this and it always tastes fresh.I like the simple ingredients.On amazon, it better value than from Biona or Holland & Barrett.

I enjoyed the apple puree , and the apple and banana, I was expecting the pear to be of a similar texture and consistency. It was runny, and not appealing taste wise, along that's more or a subjective matter. I bought all three to use in baking muffins, as a substitute to oil. I think n the pear will work well in baking, but not for consuming on its own (for me at least!) .

I have tried a couple of other fruit purées by this brand. The pear is very loose in comparison say to the apple )which I much prefer). The flavour of all of them is very good but I would probably not buy this one again.

I put it in porridge with water and blueberries, cacoa, turmeric, cinnamon and almond butter.The jar is easy to open and can be reused to freeze milk in individual hot chocolate mug proportions.Only other pear puree that equals this is clearsprings but not as easy to get in smaller quantities and I cannot bulk buy.

Very loose consistency almost drinkable. Flavour is ok, to me it tastes of prunes! I will eat/drink this batch but probably won’t order again. Apple pure is much better. Amazon delivery was late.

I find it handy for baking gluten-free vegan cakes. The pack makes it good value. This my 3rd time buying it in a few months. It’s a runny texture with delicate flavour, like you would expect of a natural pear purée.
