This is very well made, thick glass, sensitive motion detection. I didn't realize it has an, always on, nightlight setting. It looks inviting went we're driving down the street. Works great with the blink door bell, we have plenty of light to see everything. It looks really cool, and the bugs shouldn't be able to get inside the glass it has a good seal.

perfect for my small porch, get pitch dark at night and I hate the regular porch lights, discovered some that have it all.....1) dusk to dawn auto turn off / on2) motion sensor built right in3) not a glaring bright light, it goes about 40% brightness, perfect4) when motion detected, fires to 100% bright for a minute or so, then back to reduced light5) nice modern look, lies flatter, I had two lights destroyed by hail storms, so no more hangy down onesthat catch the wind6) pretty wavy glass, a bit of class , makes me smile7) wonderful price for something that has it all....yippeeeeBEST OF ALL.....NO more lightbulbs !!! it's a beautiful light! mine was installed on a brick wall. it replaces the 2nd heath-zenith fixture that also had the motion/dusk-dawn feature. it's a very hefty and substantial design that looks great when lit. a keeper - we just hope it lasts.pros:1) sufficient illumination for doorway and steps.2) great sensitivity at least 20' - 30' with a nice wide view3) did i say it's beautiful? a nice fresh modern look.4) very easy to install.5) no external controls - all settings are controlled by on/off switchingcons:1) it lacks manual controls - motion sensitivity, or time2) it only comes in black3) a single center mount attachment would be better for installation.it's only been up for a couple days now. we leave it in the auto+ mode where the light is always off until motion is detected. after some predefined period of no motion, it goes dark again. good enough for our situation. the heath-zenith lights it replaces lasted for 3 to 10 years. they had the manual controls but sensitivity was poor no matter the setting, and the plastic sensor cover deteriorated. we have floods with the same type sensors that were cheaper and are still very functional after 15+ years and countless t-storms.commentary: there seems to be some sensitivity about products made in china. what may not be understood is that they build to the vendor's spec. so if you have difficulty with their quality, it's not china, it's the vendor telling them what to use to keep costs low. if anyone saw the last olympics, u would marvel at they're execution. it's not been surpassed by any country since! so i find these questions as to where was it made are a bit insensitive. we have lots of products made right here that are severely lacking - my gm vehicles would certainly qualify as poor; especially when compared to every toyota product we've had. i did say commentary now, so u were warned.. . . enjoy the light.UPDATE: it's been hanging for two solid years now (aug '22 -> aug '24) and it's still doing the job. nothing has changed other than we appreciate it more due to its unique modern style and subtle beauty. what i also find rewarding is the lack of spider webs around the fixture. apparently, the style is less attractive to critters and that's a big plus down south. should it fail, i will buy 2 - one for insurance.

Nice and bright, with a great range of motion detection. My neighbor installed it in 20 minutes. Works like a charm and adds a nice modern accent to the front of my home. Wish it came in bronze for a better color choice for my home, but honestly looked at pages and pages and this was the nicest, most modern design I could find. Really sharp and works very well. Also well-made.

Works automatically. Once installed and setup it provides a lower light level at night that automatically turns to a brighter light when someone approaches my porch.Also a very classy addition to my home.Highly recommended.

Absolutely no instructions included. It is left to buyer to figure it out. Also no operational instructions except in the add.As others have said, this is not easy to install. It requires 2 people to install safely. The mounting plate required modification to mate with the wall box. Mounting the plate is critical to ensuring the light is level, once installed.The entire light must be assembled prior to installation. The glass light filter is fragile so great care must be taken not to drop it, and the assembly is heavy.The final mounting requires one screw in each side. This is a blind mating as it is under a flange. The screws are tiny and can be easily lost if dropped, especially from a ladder. Turning the mounting screws is cumbersome because the screw driver must be inserted behind the flange and rotated with the screw driver laying flat against the mounting surface. A plus is that the light seems well made and is attractive.

Love these! Easy to install and they work great in my backyard! Light up brighter when my dog has to go out!
