Genuine Ford Fluid XG-8 PTFE Lubricant - 3 oz.

This stuff worked out great. No hard knocking from my driveshaft. I couldn't find anywhere in town. Thank goodness I was able to purchase it here.

The job is a pain, but I took my time, and removed the boot completely from both sides, and thoroughly cleaned both sides of the slip yoke from any previous grease using brake cleaner, then used the whole tube of grease on the splines on both sides, then squeezed what was left into the slip yoke, slipped over the boot and slipped the 2 sides back together so the surplus grease got pushed in, then secured the boots using 2 zip ties on each side. So far the clunk is completely gone. (It was hard to spend so much on 3 oz of grease !!! but if it last it was worth it.

I drive a 2007 f150 lariat 5.4l v8 it was a Florida truck in mint condition I rebuilt the whole truck, it had a growling noise and a clunking noise, diagnostic found it was the driveline, specifically a dry as a bone driveshaft yoke, this 3oz tube of PTFE grease from ford motorcraft ..(use it all) ... fixed the issues in about 30 minutes work 👍🏻 fantastic easy fix I highly recommend it if you own an f150

Was expensive for what it is. I feel like I could have used a lot of other products to do the same thing. But It is the right product for a specific thing so bought it, used it, worked great. No more clunk when stopping or starting.
