Extremally easy to setup, does not need WiFi
This chime is very easy to setup and does not need to connect to your WiFi like other brands do. This one connects directly to your Wyze Wired Video Doorbell and even if your WiFi is down it will actually ring when someone is at your door. That's a huge benefit, which might not be clear at first. The other products (I'm not going to use names , but I did try them) require the video door button to be connected to your WiFi network. So far nothing different with Wyze. The other products chimes require them to be connected to the WiFi as well. So when someone rings at your door, the button sends a message via the WiFi to your chime -- or worse sends the signal to the "cloud" server, then the "cloud" server sends the message down to your chime and then your chime does make a sound. Not with Wyze. Wyze Wired Video Doorbell completely bypasses this process by having the chime connected directly to it. So if your internet, WiFi, network, cloud server, goes down for whatever reason people coming to your door and pushing the button on the Wyze Wired Video Doorbell will make the chime in the house sound. Different sounds (some are funny) and very loud. What's more is that you can connect more than one to the Wyze Wired Video Doorbell. I actually have one connected upstairs by the main entrance and another in an outlet in the basement. Because the chimes are directly connected to the Wyze Wired Video Doorbell there is no (detectable) delay between someone pushing the button outside and you hearing the chime inside the house. Its (almost) instantaneous, unlike the other products which because of WiFi, cloud, back and forth, there is a clear 1 second delay. It might not be much but still, it give you the feel that works like a doorbell. Excellent product.

Nice to have when you can't hear the doorbell
We recently bought our first video doorbell (Wyze wired video doorbell), which comes with one wireless chime. It works just fine but it's downstairs, so if you're upstairs with the door closed & music or tv are on, you can't hear the doorbell. Rather than move the chime up and down as needed, we got a 2nd chime. The Wyze chimes are wireless and super easy to pair, and just plug into an electrical outlet. It's also pretty small, it only takes up one plug-in. Other points of interest: 1) The light you need to see for pairing is on the top of the chime unit, so if you have something already into the top outlet (for example... a lamp connected to a wall switch... that you need to keep plugged in so you have light to see what you're doing) and plug this into the bottom outlet, it's not easy to see the light on top of the chime unit. 2) Related to that, once paired you can flip the chime upside down in the outlet so it fits better (against that lamp plug I previously mentioned), but now you can't see the light on top (now on the bottom) of the chime unit. You need to see the light when pairing and maybe it would be helpful to see it, if the chime malfunctioned? 3) Most important thing - since we now have 2 chimes - the one that came with the doorbell is cranked up to maximum volume (volume scale is mute, or 1-8) and is plenty loud, but the one purchased from Amazon - I have set only at 1 and that one is LOUD. I see the Amazon one has a higher firmware version number so maybe they've done something to improve them. Make sure you check all of the settings when you set this up, so you don't deafen or scare yourself or anyone in your household when someone rings the bell. All in all I was very happy to be able to pick this up for only 20 bucks, the entire Wyze experiment has been pretty inexpensive.

Wost company/lack of helpful support. Buyer beware
tl;Dr There is no customer support and it's a cheap piece of junk that fails often. Don't waste your money.I have only had the doorbell a few months and it was very hard to get it to accept my wifi during the initial setup, even though the router is only 3 feet away from the camera, it must have trouble going through the wall.. None of our other devices have this issue though, as we have wifi throughout the whole front yard. The doorbell has randomly "lost connection" with the app 3 times and each time I have to completely reinitialize it via the app, and then reinitialize the chime as well. Pretty frustrating, but it was cheap, so I dealt with it.Today they have lost any and all of my business though and I will be selling all my wyze products. I recently had to get a new phone and new phone number unexpectedly and when I went to login to the wyze app on the new phone, even though I know my credentials, it will not let me login without entering the code they are sending to my old number, that I no longer have. After several back and forth with 2 different support agents, they are basically telling me "sorry about your luck. You can create a whole new account and lose all your purchase history, if you want though." That means that my Cam+ AI subscription that I already purchased for a year is now gone. Money right down the drain.

Easy to add to existing Wyze Doorbell, loud and reliable
Easy to add to existing Wyze Doorbell - took just under 30 seconds, is loud with options to choose the level and different sounds, works reliably (for the last few months).
