The knife is fine but the box lid does not open/side and was damaged on one side. I bought two - one for myself and one as a gift. Will be returning the one I bought as a gift as both I could not slide the lid on either box.

I ordered other sabers and this one was the best. I love it. Nice weight - heavy enough to make sabering easy and comfortable. Impressive looking and comes in a very nice box. Others had cheap boxes.Highly recommended. I bought 5 more as gifts.

The media could not be loaded. I’ll start with the one/only thing I disliked - the packaging! It looks nice, but the box was so difficult to open (which I had read in other reviews). So if sending to a friend, maybe give them a warning…it really took us some time to open without breaking down the box.Now, for what I did like - I wanted a reasonably priced “saber”, as this was our first attempt at using something like this, so a focus of safety and ease of use was a must. This one hit the mark, and, at a reasonable price. I did make my husband wear safety goggles, because you never know, but it popped the bottle smoothly, with no jagged edges. It was easy to see where the top went out in the snow, so we picked it up right away. Fun gift, highly recommend!

I ordered two sabers and both did not appear to be in new condition. After taking off the wrappers I noted smudge marks and stains on the blade and handle. Anticipated for the cost I would get a brand new and clean saber.

I got my BF this as a gift and he loved it! He got it on the first try. Make sure you read the instructions, you have to chill the bottle and turn it so you saber at the seam.

This champagne saber is a terrific item. The packaging is great and the sword is very impressive. More importantly, it works perfectly. It is very impressive when guests watch you open a bottle of champagne using the Sabrage technique. Practice it first and then go for it!

I was very happy to find this product for less than $40. I browse very carefully, as I am also a certified Subrage master of ceremony. I intended to gift this to friends and business. They do support our business. But when the product arrived, I noticed that there is a lot of defect off the factory, where there is several imperfection banding on the box and it would. It’s also made with very inexpensive material(I’m gonna be respectful and Nicollet cheap) which makes me really think that if you are an amateur it’s OK for you to buy it, but it’s definitely not something for professional use. I would have to say kind of disappointing at this point I don’t have to show a photograph of the reason why the product is mediocre because it won’t change anything. And as well as the company one do anything to fix it. Because they make mass production. So good luck inches in this product.
