Wahl Clean & Close Shaver Replacement Foil & Cutter Bar for 7046 Series - Model 7046-100

The replacement is an actual wall replacement. It fit fine on the wahl trimmer of the same red color. I say that because I have a yellow wahl trimmer and it did not fit on it. They look similar.

This Wahl appliance delivers a close and comfortable shave at a modest cost. There is a long battery life here and it doesn't purr; it buzzes (efficiently). You can't use the heads without the shaver, so shaver first in this review. I switched from my former Panasonic (which broke) to get away from the cost of the shaving heads on the Pana, which are at least twice the cost of the Wahl heads, foil and cutters being sold and priced separately.

I like the close shave and long lasting battery. It really shaves really good. I've had it for a while and still going.

Perfect for my razor

The shaver its self only lasts 1 year and 2 months I bought this after a year for really it needs to be changed every 6 months not every 18 like it says. The shaver is still at least one of the best 4-6 (so far ide put it at 2) out their because all of the rest failed after a year as well if they are not inductively charged. But if the shaver only lasts that long the replacement blade is useless.

This was a direct replacement, and the cutting head is not different from what came inside mine. (Explanation: The cutting head does not look like what is in the advertised image.) I changed the head and blade parts out and oiled the pivoting head. Now it cuts better than what I remember it cutting new. So there is something better happening here with the replacement and I like it. Watch out when installing the new blades as they are sharp, no injury but they did want to dig in.

For the money this is the best electric I have ever had

Fit on the shaver just like the original did.
