Mongoose Plus has a detachable cable (primary failure of the Mongoose Pro is the cable with heavy use) and bluetooth options. The GM version of Mongoose Plus has additional protocols which are required for 2019 and newer trucks.

The GM3 was just released 3 months ago, and has all of the latest protocols for performing dealer level diagnostics and reprogramming. It includes DoIP (Diagnostics over Internet Protocol) and FD CAN (Flexible Data Rate CAN).
