I bought this to use with making some non-meat (gluten) steaks. It does have a nice roasted type of flavor without adding any meat sauce. I am not a vegetarian, but this seems to be a good seasoning to add if you want the meat type of flavor but not the actual meat. It is a nice size (27 oz) and has no trans fats, saturated fats or carbohydrates. If you are gluten sensitive, then this would not be good for you as it does have wheat gluten and roated flour. It also contains sugar and wheat bran. It is good for adding flavor to soups, broths and gravies as well.

When I first tried this I was like, "okay, a sort of soy sauce." It is salty, and I learned quickly to use sparingly and taste as I added. Then I added a dash or two to a casserole I was making.GAME. CHANGER.A splash in a simple tater tot casserole brought it up about 27 notches! What is a pretty bland but easy hot dish that makes for easy lefties suddenly became my new favorite dinner, lunch, snack...As an added bonus, one bottle of this will last me AGES! 27 ounces is a lot! I cannot wait to try it in more dishes!

This is very tasty and adds a great taste to foods. It is not overly salty but you need to be mindful of the amount of salt you add to food beause it is salty. I will definitely buy again.
