MIND BLOWN THIS REALLY WORKS!!!!
I watched a bunch of videos and read the reviews and was kind of skeptical but WOW!!!! IT REALLY WORKS!!!!! Follow the directions- take a thin strip of hair and place it in the opening like you would be doing for a hair straightener or curling iron and run it down slowly, and you can see your split ends in the little compartment! Truly very impressed and the best part is with it being cordless you don’t have to be plugged into the wall- I am walking around my house, sitting on the couch and there is no mess!!! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!! Very impressed! I don’t understand how it doesn’t cut chunks of healthy hair but IT DOESNT! I absolutely recommend! I have thick straight hair so I’m not sure how it would work with curly hair but it doesn’t take long and I will be using this as part of my regular hair routine from now on. Super cool product.

This is sheer genius!
I sat on this in my Amazon wish list for THREE YEARS and regret not buying it sooner. I suffer from telogen effluvium, an irregular resting follicle cycle that causes hair loss followed by regrowth. My hair also grows slowly and is very fine. That said, regular trims do not get all of my split ends because they are multi lengths. This product has exceeded my expectations after only one treatment. Any bad reviews are more likely that of human error: you must read the directions completely.

Read to know WHY this is trash
So I’ve had my eye in this since the first iteration, and I finally decided to sacrifice my hair to science with the “pro 2”, naively hoping they fixed the issues with it. Spoiler alert, they did not. :(I too am a “seek and destroy” type, snipping split ends with sharp scissors. I desperately wanted an easier solution. This is NOT it!!!First, let me explain how this tool works. It does not seek out split ends. It rolls your hair around a rod, so that the ends pop out as you slide the tool down the shaft of hair. A silicone flap pushes the popped ends into a what is essentially a giant beard trimmer. So every single hair end that is caught by the flap will have a 1/4” cut off, regardless of whether it is split or not. That’s why you have to go over super thin sections several times. Every hair doesn’t pop up with each pass.If it all worked as intended, it would be fine. It wouldn’t get every split. It would cut some hairs that don’t need it. But would be an excellent compromise. Here’s the actual problem. It doesn’t trim the hair ends. It RIPS the ends off. So now, not only are my existing split ends WORSE… But every single hair that went through (even the healthy ones) now have huge splits! My hair has never been more split in my life. I now have to decide whether to spend several days hand trimming all of these splits, or bite the bullet and get six inches of hair cut off. For me, that’s a full year of growth after trims.I will say, my hair is very fine. So perhaps of you have very coarse hair, you will get by. But I highly recommend only snagging the bottom couple of inches until you know how your hair will do. Actually, I highly recommend skipping this tool entirely. It’s a pipe dream. Can someone please make one that freaking works???I added a picture to show that nearly every hair is now split. I’ve NEVER had splits this bad, and we haven’t even gotten into the depths of the dry winter.Update: 3 months later… I had 2.5 inches cut off the ends. My stylist made a cursory cut of the mid-length splits during the cut. Then I spent at least 6 straight hours binging Netflix and trimming my ends “seek and destroy” style. Taking TINY sections until I’d gone through my entire head. I still have more split ends than any other time in my life. Basically every single hair ended in a split. It’s finally manageable again. As long as I keep it highly conditioned, I don’t get massive tangles that make the splits worse. I can finally wear my hair down again. Biggest hair mistake since getting ahold of scissors in elementary school. Don’t do it!!!

Better than expected
I bought this product as I am trying to grow my hair. Every time I had a professional haircut, I felt like I lost more length than I added for the month.I was surprised how well this worked. A little awkward to get used to and would be much easier to use in someone else, but I figured it out and it works. You can see the clipping as proof. My only disagreement was if you purchase this item you cannot return it. It made me a little hesitant to purchase but I’m glad I did!

A Covid Must Have
With everything going on we know going to salon is difficult and quite possibly dang near impossible. This thing.... where do I even start.I have fine straight hair. Doesn't really do much but sit there. It takes color and goes straight. So I figured this might work for me. What I wasn't prepared for was how my hair felt AFTER I got done. It was straight from the salon after a fresh cut feel, you know the kind you can never replicate once you wash your hair again after leaving... seriously that good. For lockdown states or even minimal contact areas this will save your hair. 3 times through (each 2 inch section like the directions say) and my hair felt like butter. I could see the ends coming off in the container and it was straight bliss. Hello no more split end hair, it's nice to see you again! Ok now the my experience how to's below1 - you absolutely MUST have clean hair. No product no anything. I washed my hair for 3 days straight in prep for my "cut" and made sure on the 2 days before to limit the amount of product. On day 3 cut day... double wash NO product.2 - detangle - really work the brush into your hair slowly if you've got a nest going on. but get your hair as flat straight as you can before drying3 - Make sure your hair is 100% dry. No damp spots this is crucial. You want the pro to glide over the hair not get stuck.4 - brush again. seriously I cant stress this enough. brushing again will make sure there are no tangles for the pro to go through.4.5 - if you have curlier hair - I suggest straightening it first so it's easier to move through5 - half your hair - part down the middle and pull away from the other side.6 - start slow and start small. Make sure the arrow is pointing the way you are moving the pro down the hair. Definitely dont rush. Smaller sections of hair is good to get a nice clean cut on the hair.7 - work through slowly and 3 times on each section. This is my testimony of the product. I paid full price and didn't get anything from the company just fyi.
