Not 4 ply Tempos, but great value for the money!
I'm pretty happy with these. I am a big Tempo user because Tempos are 4-ply and they're very strong and reliable. These, even though they're 3-ply, are based on bamboo, so they seem to be really, really solid and they don't tear. They're not super soft, but they're soft enough that they're pretty effective.I would recommend them for strong, effective tissues. And, no lint.

Strong, sturdy and absorbent.
These tissues are sturdy and the package comes with a good supply. My boyfriend has allergies and I couldn't keep him in tissues, not to mention the regular brand of tissues I keep around were useless for him, he soaked right through them so was using them two and three at a time. While these don't feel overly thick, they hold up to his use and he has been very happy with them. I don't need to order so often now that he can use a single tissue at one time. Highly recommended for frequent tissue users.

Plastic Packaging
It is disappointing that these come in plastic packaging that is not recyclable or biodegradable which is antithesis to the purpose of using a more ecological product like this. The plastic that bundles three of these together is unnecessary for the consumer. If the packaging was more eco-friendly I would be more likely to buy this again and recommend it. I don't mind the packs being in plastic and don't have the issues some other reviewers described around difficulty pulling the tissues out; I just wish it was recyclable plastic or in biodegradable packaging such as bamboo, after all these are bamboo tissues. Outside of the packaging I think these tissues work just as well as mainstream tissue brands and better than generic brands. They are thicker and softer than I expected and the sheets are basically the same size as other brands. They have a slightly odd smell but it's not bad and doesn't linger when you move the tissue away from your nose. These are also a good value; a pack of 402 pieces is $2.69 whereas 100 sheets of Kleenex averages $4.43. I will also say that I do not mind that this product is made in China since bamboo is most prolific in Southeast Asia.

No Pandas were harmed by using this bamboo
The tissues are less flimsy than tree-based ones, and just as soft. We get satisfaction knowing we are saving trees by using bamboo, which grows (almost) as fast as kudzu...

Better than Trees!
They feel just like any tissues you might be used to and don't use trees! That's the best part. Their TP and paper towels are great too.

Absolutely no lint :- )
The media could not be loaded. If you're ready for totally lint free tissues, then these were made for you. They are slightly smaller than standard facial tissues (OK with me). To my nose, they're just as soft as other brands. Slightly more expensive, but worth it. I've ordered another 12. Highly recommend these if the lint from regular/standard white tissues causes you to cough and sneeze.

A good natural alternative to most tissues
I love that they have no chemicals like other tissues and that they come in bulk. They work well. I usually separate the ply and use half at a time, which makes them go farther, and they are sturdy enough for that. They feel a bit rough to touch but haven't been irritating to my nose at all (haven't tried them when ill). Only thing I don't like is the color--I'd prefer white, but that would involve bleach or other agents, so I deal with it.

Decent facial tissues but overpriced
Edit/update:I used to like these tissues, but the company recently lowered how many tissues were in each packet (although the tissue packets now come in their own auto-dispensing box). As a result, the company greatly raised the price for these tissues (because while the price per case was essentially the same, you got many fewer tissues in each case). As a result they are no longer a good deal for the price, so I have lowered my review from 5 stars to 3 (and I have also canceled my Amazon auto-order of this product).-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Original Review below:Due to long standing sinus issues, I have historically gone through a lot of Kleenex. However, I recently found out that some bamboo alternatives were available (which also does my part to save a tree or two), so I decided to order a case of these tissues and see what I thought of them. Overall, I find these tissues to be nicer and cheaper than genuine Kleenex are.One thing I noticed is that these tissues stack many more tissues for the space than genuine Kleenex does. So at first glance, you would think you were getting much less product than you get with Kleenex. However, since each package of tissues has over 400 sheets in it (much more than in a Kleenex box), at a cost per sheet these are actually cheaper. Also, presumably due to their bamboo construction, I find these tissues to be soft on the nose and more absorbent than Kleenex are. As a result, I seem to go through fewer of these tissues than I do with genuine Kleenex. Now the one thing genuine Kleenex has, that these tissues lack, is a decent dispensing box. Yes, the plastic wrapper (that these tissues are shipped in) has a pull out tab you can use to turn it into a dispensing box of sorts, but that arrangement looks flimsy at best. My solution to that problem is to just buy refillable tissue boxes for every place I want these tissues around the house. Yes, that is a one time expense for each tissue box I buy, but I can then refill those boxes (with these tissues) as often as I need to.
