Good product and sound is sweet

Remember the multimedia speaker you had at home that had a subwoofer and tweeters and needed electricity to operate and could stay only in one position in the room? Well now it's portable. This is an outstanding piece of music beauty. No kidding! Now this is a review after a year of usage so trust me on this.Pros2 x 4 inch subwoofer 2 tweeters and 2 passive bass radiators! Hear it to feel it!Battery is outstanding! Most of you would go weeks without requiring a single charge.Sound is so loud your neighbors will call you requesting to reduce the volume.Booming bass causes your windows to vibrate so be careful lest your glass shatters (exaggeration at its worst.. Hear it!).Clarity is excellent you'll never feel like the base or the treble or the mids are overpowering anything.. Perfect balance.Portability is excellent.Water and dust resistant.. Take it anywhere you want. The radiators dancing around is a nice touch too.ConsYou still need to be strong to move it around.. Quite heavy probably 5-7kgs.Its bad that output is rated at 60W on battery and 80W wired. JBL should've left it at 80W (although battery consumption would be more).Bass gets compromised at max volume probably to keep the radiators from flying off.Has crashed on me twice. Had to let its battery drain, turn off and charge it from scratch. Well it worked then.Well that's all folks if you wanna get it, go right ahead without a second thought.. Wait for a price drop from amazon.. I got it for less than the current price. Keep checking for change in prices.

Nice sound

It’s truly JBL. Amazing sound quality best to play in room. Outdoor may sound a bit less appealing (bass only) rest they work great. Battery is like never dies(lol) and now I don’t use my car stereo.😎1 thing could have been better, that’s bass. They produce good low hits but I kinda expecting more “BOOM” from the box.🤓

Reason to buy : Upgrade from JBL Charge & for more thump !What did I love :1. Same sound signature as JBL Charge (which I liked)2. Bass at its best with less treble and adequate mids3. Portability though this thing is pretty heavy4. Added advantage of dust proof + water resistance5. Giving great battery backup (could easily last a week or more of 3hrs usage per day)What music I listen on this thing:1. Classic metal (I love those great bass lines and guitar riffs in Metallica or AC/DC when played on this thing)2. Electronic/club music (Sound signature helps get the club feel to your room/house/hall)3. Hip-hop (sounds crisp with a good thump)4. Punjabi rap music (Just for a casual morning can cheer up your day)What I hated:None (This is the best thing money can buy under 25k given all the advantages over all the other options)Amazon Delivery : During this lockdown relaxation the delivery was taken care & got the thing on time, packaging was in mint condition.Couldn't be much fulfilled :) TY for reading.

JBL is no more making reliable products.I first bought jbl flip1.....been using since 7 years....rough handling still working awesome.But offlate JBL reliability has deteriorated badly.My boombox worked for 1 year with minor issues of getting switched on after multiple presses of power button.....had no issues with performance but just 1 month after lapse of warranty it suddenly stopped charging .......and it's a 5kg weight can only be used as dumbell now. Very bad quality products being made by jbl nowadays......can't get warranty or any other services now.Overall waste of money. Might as well go for a brand like boat or portronics, because JBL is going duff in just one year(to me it happened with JBL BOOMBOX and JBL infinity glide earphone also that also got unserviceable twice in 8 months), cheap and local brand will provide same specs at ten percent of price no point wasting hard earned money with JBL.Or else go for Bose or MarshallElse talking of performance.......portability is good for a crazy music lover like me....due to my job I dont stay at any place longer than 1 or 2 weeks but I am able to carry this one everywhere but for an average person, size of speaker is beyond portable.Sound quality is good...for the size.At high volume bass is found little lacking....uptil 70 percent volume deep and punchy bass available. Good enough for indoor party slightly weak for an outdoor party.Battery no doubt was good. But since it had stopped charging it's of no use.Also for information I also bought jbl infinity glide and that earphone has gone unserviceable twice in 8 months so effectively I have third earphone provided as replacement by JBL ......hope this one lasts little longer.

I am writing this review after 8 months of usage of the speakers. First of all I have been using jbl, for last 4 years and I have found out that it is a very reliable brand. Secondly coming to Boombox bass is awesome and good range of Bluetooth connectivity so you can play your music while you are at quite some distance from your speakers you can even played from another room, and the battery life is again awesome if you play it at 50% volume I'm sure it will last you for days even if you play for 5 hours a day and if you use it for watching movies it will last even longer. The charger provided with the speakers is fast charging and quickly charges the speaker. The only drawback that I feel is the weight of the speaker it is quite heavy if you compared with its counterparts. And I would really appreciate JBL if they provide a carrying case along with the speaker which is very much required.and if you are thinking about the cost of the speaker then yes it's high but I'm quite sure that you won't regret it once you start using it, it will rather pay you back in long run
