I've had Psyllium capsules before, but these contain quite a few extra ingredients, that make the product sound like a combination of fibre booster, plus a bit of a laxative.The advice is to take several a day - I'd prefer a product where you take one or two a day, and that's it, done. This product also advises taking the capsules with 250 mls of water - again, a bit of a drawback in my book, especially as I usually take my food supplements last thing at night. However, at least they are taste and odour free.One other comment - the capsules come in a neat large, fairly flat, plastic container. It has a peel-off foil seal over the small opening at the top of the container - but no cap to replace the foil with, so the container then stays open; not ideal (and I'm not sure if it will affect the freshness of the product).

As with most supplements, I can't tell if placebo or real results. These ones aren't really doing much for me in terms of feeling better or different in any way so I'm not convinced and probably wouldnt get them again.

I wanted to try these as I have had a need to increase my daily fibre intake but usually forgetting this when ordering food from the supermarket or when I have a meal out or takeaway.It's easy to get distracted away from what your body needs when in the middle of a busy week so these tablets hopefully offer a solution with easy to take, easy to swallow fibre supplements, and with 100 in a bottle these offer good value for money too.It takes two or three days for it to really show results but as soon as it does you notice it straight away with your stools becoming more solid, your stomach feeling less bloated, and you feel a bit lighter on your feet too (or at least this is what happened to me)They're tasteless but even so swallow down with plenty of water as you may need to increase your water intake slightly when taking these.I'm looking forward to seeing how these do long term but short term results are promising

These tablets come in a nice slim box, take up less space in the drawer than those round ones.Tablets themselves are nice and easy to swallow.It does say on the box to take 3 -6 a day with water - 3 will give you 1575mg.This is quite a low amount if you need to bulk up your fibre intake.For me, with an overactive bowl 2 a day does it's job at slowing things down.You do need to look at what amount of fibre you need, if you do need the 6 a day, then this is only 16 days supply.
