I am 60 and have been putting this on my neck and top of hands and I think my skin is looking smoother and more hydrated! It is a little hard to rub in, but still worth it!

I’ve developed a very dry skin even though I live in the tropics, nothing worked at all. Finally I started to use this product, the results were from first use. This butter is colorless, odorless and doesn’t stain cloths or bedsheets. It’s melts once put in the palms like butter and spreads easily. It moisturizers quickly and leaves skin very well hydrated for a long time. I. A dry season, I use it around my lips and nose. Even my finicky cats love it. The larger container is more economic. This product is highly recommended I’ve been using it for over a year now, hand, elbows and heels. Have fun experimenting.

I don't know why so many negative reviews. Since Amazon has this product waaaay cheaper than the health (food) store in my neighborhood I buy it all the time. This size would be $30 at the store. As far as it being hard it's supposed to be. Shea Butter always is. I have a small empty jar of it I put it in the microwave or heat water place jar in a bowl let it melt the pour into the small jar. I like to put it on warm. Makes my skin soft. I have very dry skin in winter. So bad I itch horrible 😫 but not with this. My skin stays moisturized I use it daily. I highly recommend especially for people of color but anyone with dry skin. Never did a subscription before I did for this product

I love that it's a solid pound of shea butter, however, it was very gritty, which I think is natural. When I would rub it between my hands and spread it on my body, I would end up with what looked like grits all over my body. I melted it down completely and let it resolidify to get rid of the "grit." I tend to have dry skin, so this keeps it moisturized throughout the day.

Lots of people mention that this product is gritty. I did find that to be true but since I melt it down before use anyways it was not an issue for me. I will say that when I melt it down and recool it the oil becomes very smooth and easy to use. I used this for two pregnancies. I used this every day in both pregnancies. I rub it from my neck to mid thighs. I have no stretch marks from either pregnancy. No I am not one of those lucky people who just doesn’t get stretch marks. I know this because I have lots of stretch marks on my butt and outer thighs from gaining and losing weight in my early 20’s.This has made my old stretch marks harder to see and prevented me from getting any new ones. I went from 116 pounds to 150 my first pregnancy and still did not get a single mark on my stomach. I am a firm believer that this Shea butter is the reason why!Yes it is thick and oily. I just designated a few shirts to wear when I used it that I didn’t care about. This oil basically destroyed those. They always feel greasy no matter if you wash them. In my opinion it was a very small price to pay for the success of this product.

Grainy product; at first I thought it was due cold weather & just needs to be warmer, but no, this is not the case. It does not rub into the skin, but balls up and makes a mess. Used this brand/product before, but this one is not usable.

This just changed my life. I’m glad I read the comments about melting it and refreshing it! I was suffering from a rash on my leg, small but itchy. I have sensitive skin so everything I used, both over the counter and prescription; gave me hives and made it worse. This was the first time in 6 months I have had relief! Not to mention it’s calming down so much so fast! The melting and Re-solidifying Made this smooth ( not gritty) and instead of just sitting on the surface like most, this absorbed and deeply moisturized! You have no idea the torture this has been and to find relief?! I am so happy not only for this product but the person who explained how to fix the grit and make it useable! ( if you didn’t see. You boil water and put a glass bowl over that, let the product completely melt til clear then put it back in the container and the freezer! Wait a few hours and it will be solid and smooth! ) thank you thank you thank you!!!
