Fixed our cheap carpet floor!
Our cheap carpet was starting to fray and separate where it meets the hardwood and this caused the carpet nails to become exposed. This cheap fix was the perfect option to fix the problem, and it looks really nice too!

Prevents falls--measure carpet thickness to get proper fit.
Works great. Far better than binding carpet edges. Prevents falls--which was the reason to buy this type of product.

Great Quality...so far!
Heavy duty - hoping adhesive holds up long term, but only time will tell. Perfect for our situation...just wish the color we needed came in a longer strip.

Needed to use a lot of force to install, but did it’s job
I struggled with the application of this product. I needed the strip to help line the transition from shag carpet to vinyl plank flooring in my basement. Granted, the carpet is probably thicker than what was intended, I struggle to get this to stick, and had to put consider force down to get it to stay. It did the job in the end, and it wasn’t too expensive, I just wish they made a version for thicker carpet.

Floor transition strip
My garage floor has old linoleum squares. At the end by the garage door the half tiles were all in pieces and the edge was uneven. I had some spare tiles so I decided to replace them. Since the end of the floor was uneven I decide to try this edge to finish it. It was exactly what I needed. It was one piece and was easy to cut to my size floor. It finished the end of the floor nicely and protects the edge of the tiles. (I did use floor adhesive) I'm very happy with the results and recommend this product highly.

Adhesive needs improvement
Concerning my purchase in December 2023 of "Floor Transition Strip Self Adhesive Carpet & Flooring Transitions Edging Trim Strip PVC Threshold Transitions Suitable for Threshold Height Less Than 5mm (20Ft, Wood Grain Light Brown-New)" - I may need to return this because of a flaw that does not protect the self-adhesive strip. Before packing/shipping by the manufacture/seller, it is wound up in a circle with the red sticky protector tape on the inside of the roll and not on the outside of the product as shown in the product's picture on Amazon. Because it is wound up on the inside, that has caused the red protective tape to be loose causing gaps and bubbles which leads to the self-adhesive strip to dry out and become less tacky. IF the product is wound in a circle with the red sticky protector tape on the outside (again as shown in the product's photo), it will keep the protective red tape tight and taut. This will give it a higher chance for the self-stick part to remain just that. Right now, it is not tacky at all, most likely caused by sections being open to air. Please fix and advise.

Amazing Results with Minimal Effort
I'm blown away with how easy this was and how good it looks. I've been dealing with missing a long piece of broken-off cover from time to laminate for several years now; my skill set does not include what was needed to replace all of that.Well I'm trying to sell my home, so I needed to do something ASAP! About 3 AM I found this, maybe this will work. I will say I did buy a very thin heavy-duty double sided tape to add to the non-adhesive section of the strip. It took long to add that than it did to put the strips into place. I quite literally did NOT have even 1/4" left over; nothing like holding your breath for a bit. Mitered great using only scissors. It's been 2 weeks now, and not even a hint of lifting. It looks amazing and was worth every single penny. I do have other areas that would benefit from a 3/4 round like this. Where have you been all my life? Onto fixing the broken tile.
