Adorable mushroom timer! Very cottage core or fairy core in a functional and cute design. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE!I was able to use the timer correctly by reading the instructions. You move the timer all the way to its end point and then return it to the amount of time you want. Doing this winds the mechanism and allows it to tick-tock away until your desired time is reached. The ring doesn't hurt your ears but you definitely hear it.I really like this little piece of whimsy. Life can be hard and then you look at your mushroom timer and smile.

Too cute!! I bought one for my hairdresser -her whole booth is mushroom stuff. I figured it was perfect for timing hair dye and treatments. Then I had to buy one for me too! It’s my daughter’s reading timer-she lives setting it. Love!

I was constantly putting things in the oven and then telling myself when to come and take stuff out. But if you get caught on the phone, you forget and then it burns. Now I set the timer and I haven't burned anything since. Also, I just have a thing for mushrooms. I took away a star for how loud and annoying the buzzer is when it goes off.

These timers are great. Loud, soft in the hand and easy to wind up and set the timer on them. They have a loud ticking too, which keeps my mind alert to the fact I'm timing something, so as not to miss it. The green base has the easiest to read numbers (brown on yellow), if that's something you have a concern about. I have the gray base and the green. I can hear these timers go off in the kitchen all the way from the back rooms of my house, which is great. They come in a cute and colorful manufacturer's box, so they look good for gifting. Maybe buy your timer with another item that requires shipping in a box so their pretty box doesn't get squished, my last one got squished, being mailed inside just the bubble envelope. But these timers appear to have durable metal gears inside, so they're loud, more loud than timers with just plastic gear parts.

A cute little timer it works great. I have no issues with it not going off, the instructions say to wind to 55 minutes then set whatever time you need so far I've had no issues and I do a lot of baking.

Super cute and reliable. My family uses this timer very frequently, even outside of the kitchen.
