This thing works!
I have had this descaled installed since February and all I can say it’s made a believer out of me. Me and the rest of the family noticed a change in the feel of the water within about 4 to 5 weeks. It wasn’t huge but noticeable. The big thing I noticed is that the mineral coloration around the drain in our sinks began flaking off by simple scraping with ny fingernail and they haven’t returned. Before that, it took detergent with a scratchpad to get them off. The mineral buildup that was on our shower head nozzles - gone. The deposits literally came off after a few months. We have 3 bathrooms, kitchen sink, dishwasher, etc and the house is about 3000 sq ft with finished basement. This one unit seems to be enough for the entire house and it’s still going strong. I have included a pic and video of the installation- installed after the split between irrigation and house and before the hot water heater.

Difficult to say whether it is working, but ...
Easy to install (just read the directions). Water spots seem to be improving gradually, which is a good thing. I'd recommend it to everyone with questions on their water quality.

Works great
We bought a smaller unit to put in our Airstream trailer last year and it made a huge difference. We were in Arizona for the winter and the water was horrible. One of the neighbors warned us that the water would most likely ruin our tankless water heater within a couple of months so we decided to give this technology a try since we didn’t really have room to install any other type of system. We were in the process of having a new house built in Colorado where the water quality is much better, but not without build-up issues. Because the unit worked so well in the RV, we decided to protect all of our new plumbing fixtures and appliances with another (larger) unit in our house. We didn’t get it installed right away and started noticing the white streaks and spots on some of the fixtures. Now that the device is installed those signs of build-up are not reappearing. There is also a distinct difference in the amount of soap lather that you get from what is was before without the device. If it saves us from having to replace just one plumbing fixture because of calcium build-up it has totally paid for itself.

Copper Ribbons are difficult to wrap
I just installed the ED2000s. Its to soon to say if it is doing what it claims to do. I will say the brass ribbons are extremely difficult to wrap around PEX piping in my case. Wish I had opted for the wire version. Anyway, I’m keeping my fingers crossed!Update: after one week water seems silky or soft to the touch. My shower doors stay clear with no streaks. As you can see in my photos I was concerned how to wrap the copper ribbons but this configuration seems to work. I opted for this product since I live in a condo and space is limited for a salt water conditioner with resin and brine tank.

Very Poor Website
Comes with a card that says you can register for a free 3 year warranty. Filled in the information on the website that came up when I scanned the card that was in the box.I filled in the data requested twice. Both times, after I enter the CAPCHA code and click on Submit, all the data I entered in the form was erased and it said missing information.DUH! The website erased all the information I had entered. ALL of it.I have a little trepidation about how the Electronic priducr will work if their Electronic website sucks so much.

Good quality
Excellent product. Easy to install, so as long as you preplan the pipe route. This has improved the water quality and customer service is quick to respond if I have a question that needs to be resolved, specifically JOHN.I added an additional bone char filter to eliminate fluoride for the entire house and have two come to support this brand and have recently bout two shower head mineral filters and a reverse osmosis under the sink filter.Since having this product I only had one defect which would include a broken carbon filter which was most likely broken by the delivery driver but a quick email and a replacement was sent without any hassle.

No significant difference in water quality
Update after a few more months and still no difference. Going with full water softener route instead! Wish I could return this thing...Have this installed now for a month and there is no discernable difference in water quality. Still see white residue and some build up on faucets. I didn't expect this to work like a water softener buti expected some sort of improvement. At this time I cannot tell if it's really working or not.

Immediate improvement
Edit: The instructions say you must have a minimum of 7 wraps around the pipe on each end, with 12 being better. I located the unit on the pipe and were able to get 17 wraps on one side and 18 on the other. Now after three weeks with the system, we are still very, very pleased. Not even sure I will purchase and install a $1,200 TAC system. We moved into our new house, which is on well water about two months ago and in this short amount of time we experienced extreme skin conditions with bad eczema. After a lot of research, I made a decision to put in a TAC system, but during my research, I stumbled across this little electromagnetic solution and decided to give it a try. This was after I ordered water test strips, realizing that the iron content in our water was nearly 0. If you have high iron, you must filter it out or this won’t work. Our water test strips revealed that we had extremely high levels of carbonates. Prior to installation after taking a shower I would get out and my skin would be stinging. After two days of showers since installation, I have had zero skin issues. The wife has said that her daily hair styling is much improved. We may end up putting in $1000 TAC system, but until then we’re very happy with the improvement.
