Light enough to carry around easily, but very sturdy and comfortable, and they swivel smoothly. Nothing about them feels cheap or flimsy. They look great and guests always want to know where we got them. We ordered 6 and held our breath because you always get a few bent or crappy ones in a batch of affordable, assembly required furniture, but nope--all were in perfect condition and went together quickly and easily.

Easy to assemble and a perfect match to my 50's styled guest kitchen.Quality seems good and should hold up to young kids.

Excellent quality. I bought 4, and after I put them together, all four were sturdy, none of the bolts wobbled, etc. Only problem: there was a tiny tear in the vinyl on one of them... then I noticed there was a tiny tear on a second one as well. I have a fear the covers are going to start ripping and coming loose. For now, I am just hoping the tears stay tiny. I will try and remember to update this if they get worse. EDIT: it's now a couple years later and, to my surprise, the tears have not grown and the product is holding up. Definitely would buy again, though I can't quite say 5 stars.

These appear to be really sturdy. Husband put them together as soon as they were delivered. One box came US MAIL, the other came UPS,Each box contained 2 stools. Great price, compared to other places. We are having an addition built on our house, bought these for additional seating at our soda fountain/malt shop counter, and to coordinate with a 1958 red and white dining booth. We also have a 1955 Rockola Jukebox. Will try to post pictures after completion of room.

We are building a retro-style diner in our home and these are perfect. The quality is very good and the seat cushion is very comfortable. The seats are a little taller than the average bar-stool - so check the 29" against your bar height. If you are a large person, you may be uncomfortable sitting at a normal counter on these.The cushion red is a bright red (a little brighter than the picture).

Bought these for my game room. It was pretty simple to put together. I will say that its true they dont make things like they use to. If the material was just a little more old school they would be perfect. However, I will be keeping them as they fit just right
