Brazos Walking Cane for Men and Women Handcrafted of Lightweight Wood and made in the USA, Knob Root, 40 Inches

This cane is beautiful, its sturdy, has a beautiful color, I love the spiral design on the length and it has a nice satin finish. the handle is a bit large which is good because I have big hands as I am very tall (6ft). I am concerned it will be a little too tall for me however buying up a size is good because you can always go to a woodworker or carpenter and have the bottom trimmed a bit. It is quite a bit heavier than my previous cane but this is due to the use of the walnut hardwood which makes it much sturdier than my previous cane (from a different company)I'm not sure what people meant by bowing of the cane, I got the 40inch Walnut with the classic handle and there is no way this cane could bow, even under the weight of my heavy weight. If you're concerned about sturdiness walnut is the way to go it is VERY strongIf there are any problems that come up I'll come and update the review but for now I'm VERY happy with this and look forward to being able to stand taller and be more secure in my walking!

This is a fabulous walking cane from one of the best companies who sell these type of products and I’ll tell you why from the top.... so easy to navigate the site and find what you need.The choices seem endless and their affordable prices (even for this Veteran who has a limited income) left me wanting to order more than one at a time.As a prime member on Amazon the shipping was free. It came before the estimated time but I’m sure that will vary somewhat depending on variables.It’s a beautiful looking hand carved work of art in my opinion.It’s a very sturdy solid piece of wood and the ball at the top allows me to hold on even with my arthritis and hand tremors.It’s s just a wonderful product and thank you Brazos for always striving for perfection. You always hit your mark.

I broke my foot and the crutches were wrecking me! I was wiped out just going to the kitchen. My hands were killing me.Once the doctor told me I could put pressure on my foot I bought a 40” cane with a hame top. It was perfect, really improved my mobility. I’m 6’2” and the 40” works so well.The hame top was great for my hands, but can see it’s not for everyone. Took some getting used to.The cane is well made and the tag tells you about who made it. True artisan craftsmanship.

Purchased for general support around house, garden and shops. As a sufferer of osteoarthritis, I wanted a cane which would provide firm support. This one has that in spades, with a wonderful grip and balance. I also wanted to convey a 'young at heart' image with a uniquely designed stick that projects modernism and colour. This has a WOW factor that you would not believe. It has huge visual appeal and I just can't put it down.What disappoints is the finish. The join between the handle and stem has surface damage and the design of those two components does not flow. The handle also looks a little worn. It gives the impression that this particular canehas been recycled in some way. This is a premium hand made item and given the provenance that accompanies it, make these faults really upsetting.On balance the pros outweigh the cons but either the maker or distributor need to up their game to avoid problems of this nature.

I bought this cane for my 85 year old father, who has had to start using a regular metal cane to get around these last several months. My father's only hesitation to using the metal cane was the image that its use presented. Now with this stylish walnut cane, that hesitation is gone. The cane is sturdy enough to give him the support he needs, while at the same time is lite enough to be handled easily. The hand grip on his derby cane gives him excellent control of the cane and is comfortable to use. One of the most functional gifts I've given him in a long time.

Being a very tall person (6'6" or 2m), I was looking for a walking cane that was available in many lengths and styles. Brazos is a well known craftsman of walking canes, and when I finally found their item on Amazon, I was psyched. After selecting the 40" length, I still had many options for color and handle style. I chose the blue layered wood design and couldn't be happier.This IS a wooden cane, so it's a little heavier than an aluminum model, but even at 40" it's very easy to manipulate, and the inherent strength of the hand-crafted wood actually makes it feel more sturdy; more planted to the ground, increasing confidence.I'm loving this cane, and will almost be sad to no longer need it... almost.

I ordered this walking cane because I know my father (80) likes things that bring attention (conversation pieces). I was a little bit hesitant about getting a cane that is somewhat "flashy", but I got it anyway. Now that it has been delivered, I am so happy that I bought it. It is such good quality. The colors of the wood are so nice & natural, I think it is going to be the perfect birthday present for him. the quality is outstanding. I fully recommend this cane. I think I am going to order a walking stick for myself and my daughter just because I like this company.
