How much weight can it hold?

I used these to move. I packed pots and pans in one. Winter coats in one. All my nurse uniforms in one. All my winter clothes in one. Summer clothes in one. As I can't say the weight, I can say they all were pretty heavy and these bags held up really well. Hope this helps

Are these bug resistant? I would want to store things out in the shed.

These are a woven plastic material, similar to a tarp. Not a clear solid vinyl. Possible bug resistant, but not bug proof. Could be chewed through by animals.

Are these bags sturdy enough to be stacked and stored vertically if you're putting clothes in them?

Yes?? I mean, they are flexible... They don't have rigid ends. It's a BAG not a BOX. it depends on how densely they are packed. I've stacked mine up 4 high, with a slight lean to the stack. If you just store your clothes fluffed up, they are going to compact pretty quick and flat if you put weight on top of a bag and will start leaning.

Why is the handle anchor (extra fabric between the bag and handle) outside of the bag instead of inside of the bag?

This is a great question. We intentionally stitched the anchor outside of the bag to better avoid any kind of handle tears. We have tested it many times and, in this case, both the inside anchor and outside anchor work great to avoid vertical tears, but the outside anchor works better than the inside anchor for avoiding horizontal tears.
