REVLONColorsilk Beautiful Color Permanent Hair Color, (OLD VERSION) 11 Soft Black (Pack of 3)

I USED to have long hair and went to a salon bc they convinced me they had to strip all the box dye from my hair before bleaching, etc. (Someone out there already knows what I’m going to say next) lol She FRIED my hair!! I have used this product for many years and have always had excellent results. I should’ve stayed with what I was using, but I wanted a change (and got it) but NEVER, EVER do anything major to your hair BEFORE an event!!Stay with what is tried & true! When I had long hair one box covered everything but I would get more just in case. And it’s inexpensive but it does a great job! I have spent hundreds (thousands over the years) on salon visits and if you’re covering roots or have a “one color & done” type of hair style, this will work. Save your money! I have a pixie cut now & still love using this dye for my needs. My hair color is in between dark brown and black but I went with soft black bc I felt it covered my stubborn grays more efficiently. IMO, it doesn’t look fake black, my hair is soft and shiny and lasts up to 3 weeks with a sulfate free shampoo & conditioner. I hope this helps.

I have brown hair with a some gray in it. I have always used Loreal Preference Soft black. Its a trick taught to me by my female barber. Even though its black its soft black which kinda means brown. When I put it on in covers the gray and doesn't look black and blends in. The average person wouldn't know I color my hair. A pro would. The Revlon is Darker. I wanted to touch up brown hair I didn't want to make it black. I've rewritten this review because this product is a great product but needs some attention when using it. It works almost instantly and is darker than Loreal but you just have to use less and don't keep it on that long. It seems to last longer than Loreal Preference which is a good product. Once you understand how to use this product you won't go back. It's not only a lot cheaper but lasts longer. I only put the product on for a minute before I rinse it off.

It's the only one I use very good to cover gray hair, it's good black and arrives quickly

I have been using Revlon ColorSilk Permanent Hair Color for many years! I have tried other at home hair color brands, even those that are far more expensive, and I always regret it! I don’t bother trying any other brands now because ColorSilk is by far and away the best! It goes on so easily and makes my hair silky smooth and super shiny! My hair actually looks and feels better after coloring! Most importantly, Revlon ColorSilk does NOT damage my very fine, but thick hair! The scent is not overpowering, meaning no strong fumes that makes it hard to breathe, no burning or irritation on my scalp, and the color lasts longer than any other brands I have used! I will never use any other hair color product at this point! I am a Revlon ColorSilk lifer! Just so ya know, I was not paid for this review, I did not get this product for free, and do not know anyone who works for the company or any subsidiaries! I just LOVE this product!
