can I wear them for running

I'm not a runner. I'm a nurse & work 12hr shifts which included lots of running up & down the hallway to surgery. They stay up very well and also support your arches. One of the docs I work with wears them when running.

I am a big woman with long legs and size 11 1/2 feet will the mens LG/XL fit me or can I wear woman's m-l

I am size 7.5 and the women's m-l were WAY to big. I felt no compression AT ALL even though I chose the ones in my size range. I think that if you want compression with these socks you'll have to go with m-l, I think men's will be too big and you wont be satisfied with amount of compression.

I wear size nine shoe. What sizw would I wear for good support?

I wear the scams size shoe and I bought a large...they fit perfectly:)

What size should I order for shoe size woman 7.5 ?

I wear either a 7.5 or 8 shoe size (38 euro) and have many, many pairs of Sockwell compression socks. I prefer the S/M because the foot length (toe-heel measurement) is a bit too long in the M/L and it sometimes scrunches up uncomfortably in my shoe.
