Good product
Great for tracing ethernet from source to destination on a budget. My only problem is the first one I bought died the first time I tried to charge it. It gets plugged in via USB-C but it doesn’t come with a charger so you kind of have to guess about what strength charger to use. Not sure if my first one died because of a power mismatch in the charger. I haven’t tried charging this one yet because I’m scared to kill it. So, if you can figure out how to safely recharge it, I highly recommend it. If you can’t, honestly I don’t know if I could recommend it. I’m on the fence because it does a good job of line tracing and it’s super inexpensive.

Best Tracker I've had yet. Very precise and adjustable.
The media could not be loaded. If you're a little indecisive how I am and on the fence on which one to get, I do suggest this one. It works through walls and is very precise. Others I've had only goes so far but this one reaches all the way across my house and helps me specifically find the one and only fuse that goes to the sockets I am hunting.. other ones I had would just ring when it was near one of the fuses... This one will actually show you the exact fuse or wire. Very very happy with this buy. Love the black and red too. Matches all of my Milwaukee stuff 👌

Did what I needed it to.
The product I received looks like it had been opened before and was missing components (9V Batteries). Other than a box that was torn open before, it worked fine and helped me trace out my network cable.

My boss said he likes mine better than his $100+ model.
I took this to a clients office to put in some network equipment. Of course the low voltage people didn’t label the jacks or the patch panels. We’d attempted to trace the lines with another, more expensive brand on a previous visit. This one is sensitive enough tracing was quick, the client is happy, and I feel like it’s money well spent.This unit will tone out a low voltage run, and it can check for continuity and pin out. It does not check impedance. You’ll need a cable analyzer for that.
