Is the phoenix a white stick?

There is the ol' switcharoo and faud taking place here... they're advertising the superior and favored (pictured version) and then sending out the failed product "Anti-Sweat" non-deoderant version... its barely scented! which is complete garbage!!! Side by side sniff tests reveal a very weak scent on the "Anti-Sweat" version, while the advertised (pictured version) is a superior product and heavily scented!!! They know what they're doing... it's the ol' switcharoo... it's how they get rid of the failed, failing or inferior product no one wants!

“Essence All Day Fresh” is what I wanted, I got “Essence 48H Fresh” is what I got. I don’t like the 48h fresh smell. What happened to the original?

I am not sure maybe the manufacturer changed the formula, Try to contact the company that actually makes the product and tell them your concerns and hopefully they will resolve the matter.

Yes it's the gel. I wanted the white but was sent the gel.

Works all day

This is my favorite deodorant. My spouse thinks it smells like oranges and I can kind of see why, even though it isn't citrus-scented. It washes out of clothing well, washes off your skin without difficulty, and keeps me from being stinky all day.
