My dog has dry itchy skin and this stuff is amazing. Fights fleas and ticks but at the same time he smells good doing it! He is so soft and less itchy. I use it with or without sign of fleas and ticks.

But it does kill fleas. Some years fleas are a big problem at our property. The squirrel and neighborhood cats bring them into our yard. This shampoo works, but you should also treat the areas of the yard were fleas hang out (shady areas in summer.) Inside I use boric acid on the carpets (I got a bag of boric acid at a good price on Amazon. It is the same stuff that is in $35 containers of flea killer.) and, after washing, I use a spray on my dog's bedding. You should vacuum up the boric acid after a few days.

How funny is it that your dogs fur can look that good and get rid of fleas

Kills fleas that are alive but don’t work to repeal fleas in the future. Last maybe a week. I think it was only five days until I had to bath again because she had fleas again. And I check her 2/3 times a day.
