You'll have happy bees.
It's nice. I just wish you could open the back to clean out at seasons end.

I LOVE this house and so do my bees!
This is a perfect house for my bees! I purchased two of them. The bees love them, and so do I! I put them out two weeks ago, and as you can see, the replaceable tubes are perfect for me to harvest at the end of the season to keep them healthy and safe. I HIGHLY recommend this. Well built. I realize the holes are shorter than recommended, but my bees continue to thrive with these. I still have plenty of females and males, so they recommend the longer, 6-inch tubes.

Not for mason bees
So I probably bought this house to help with my mason bees. Each of these tubes is about half of what Mason bees like to nest in or build their little mud. Cavities tubes were probably about 3 inches and Mason bees like 6 to 6 1/2 inches. If you wanna have this for leaf-cutter bees or any other kind of pollinating insect, it’ll be awesome. It is built well.

Short tubes
The tubes are only 4 inches in length so not standard. Leaf cutter bees used the drilled wood holes just fine. Cardboard tubes not used at all. Mason bees next year will hopefully use the cardboard ones next year

Shallow holes in wooden section
I just got this bee hotel for Christmas. The two wooden sections have drilled holes that are just over half the box depth. The cardboard tubes do extend the entire box depth but are still pretty shallow as compared to other hotels. This means you get about half the number of bee cocoons in the drilled wood, so I need to disassemble the hotel and drill out the existing holes through the wood to get the maximum number of cocoons. Also, the roof does not extend out over the face of the tubes and holes enough, so I need to add a new roof section. I will also install a bird barrier over the entire front to protect the bees. I'll bet that if Navaris made this box depth 6.5 inches deep, they would sell many more hotels because replacement tubes are mostly 6 inches long. They do have a quality made product.
