This has been a surprise hit for me! Downtown Farmer's Market hits this sweet spot of being a not-too-complicated game that can be taught very fast, plays pretty quickly, but gives your brain a nice puzzle to solve while doing it. My husband doesn't really care for games and he found this one to be fun. When I taught it to friends and they enjoyed it, too, I found myself gifting it to them and coming back to buy another copy for myself! The box is small and doesn't take up much space, and the lid is hinged with a clever magnet clasp to hold it closed. That was a nice touch. I won't tire of this one anytime soon because the art is charming, the complexity is just right to fun without being overwhelming, and each time I play I feel I learn to make more strategic decisions, and that feels nice.

Downtown Farmers Market is a delightful tile selection and placement game. You can play a kid friendly version (seen in photo) where you play without the column and row objectives. This makes it a lightning fast filler which we get to the table often! The normal (advanced) rules make this game a real brain burner and will really hurt those who love or need perfection. Small box makes it easy to travel with and great for all gaming levels.

The goals mean there is a ton of combinations of goals. Neat little puzzle.

We love downtown farmer's market. It is a great game. Simple in concept, but difficult to master! Great game for older kids and adults of all ages. Highly recommend this game for yourself or others! I love the magnetic box that it comes in.

The game has simple rules but still makes you think. It takes 15-20 minutes to play with 2 players. Lots of fun in a small box. Also love the packaging - very compact - no wasted space. Recommended!

Super easy to learn. Played with my 6 year old and he won! Fun little puzzle game. I'm excited to play it again.

This game was purchased brand new and our copy had nail marks in the tiles along with some residue on most of the tiles.. the box was also heavily banged up, but that could have happened in transit as Amazon likes to stick board games in clothing bags.

Great game. Place your cards in a grid according to the directions. Challenge tiles are places along the top and left side. Ingredient tiles are placed in each row and column. You gain points if you fulfill each challenge. The fact that the row and column challenge tiles intersect adds to the challenge. It may sound confusing, but you'll get it quickly. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!! I added some photos (oddly the Amazon description says the minimum age for this game is 84! hahaha)
