Manhattan Toy Winkel Monkey Rattle & Sensory Teether

My 4 month old son loves another Manhattan toy winkel rattle so I decided to buy this one. I was hoping he could play with this as fun as with other winkel rattle, but it looks like this toy is not appropriate for my son who rolls over and chews often. Almost makes him choke. When he chews and rolls over with this, this toy was in his mouth and the size of loops are way too small/wide so the loop was almost placed deep into his throat. Fortunately I could save him right away when I heard his choking sound, but it was a terrible experience. So, this toy needs parent-supervision particularly for babies who chews/rolls over.

I wish I would have bought this for our baby earlier. He's now 3 months old and I just discovered the small stuffed animals I've been giving him are actually too big for him to easily hold. The 1/4 inch tubing on this toy is absolutely perfect for his tiny grip. This one is lighter than the Owl winkel I had purchased. He flings this thing all around. I also like that the rattle noise inside the elephant is quiet, and not a harsh loud noise. I'm so very pleased with this toy, and I highly recommend it!

Love love love this for my little one! It’s perfect for babies who are just starting to grasp toys, and he has a similar one that was his older sisters that he started grasping about 3 months (and it’s held up with 3 kids. I saved the first one because it was my 11 year olds favorite toy as a baby. Then it was my 7 year olds favorite toy. And then my little one nows favorite too) I got him this one so he could have one of his own toys at daycare and he loves it just as much. The perfect first baby toy and from a quality company!!!

I purchased this for my daughter when she was 4 months old and starting to grab for things. It is a really great toy. The colors are vibrant and she really enjoyed chewing on the loops and looking at the smiley face which does not scratch off. It is very easy to grab and very light weight. It also has a relaxing rattle sound when you shake it. The quality is very good and I like that this is affordable since it's a toy that my daughter only took interest in for about 2 months. I gave it 4 stars because this toy doesn't hold my daughters attention for long before she moves onto a new toy.

This teething toy is super cute, and I'd love to give it 5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 due to the wing pieces being so closes together, making it hard for a baby to get them in the mouth to chew on. It's still a fun little toy however that's perfectly capable of keeping a little one occupied for a while, it's just not a great teething option.

I didn’t have high hopes for this toy when compared to others on the market, but I was so wrong. This is the first toy my baby girl really took to. She loves it so much and even though she’s getting older now at 6 months, she still loves to grab onto it and try to eat the “ears.” It makes a rattle sound that isn’t too loud and annoying either and goodness knows new parents can appreciate less noise!

My son loves the winkle so we got this for variety. The loops on the top and bottom of the lion face are small enough and have plenty of room around them, allowing the baby to stick them all the way in his mouth and as a result choke himself! My son was able to jam one of the loops all the way back in his throat and as a result started gagging and coughing with watery eyes and a very red face. Unless you plan to watch your baby every second with this toy, please do not use.

I have the original Manhattan winkel toy and my 4 month old loves it, (up until a week or two ago it was really the only toy he was interested in!) so I wanted another for him. This did not disappoint. It is probably even easier for my son to get to his mouth than the original, the loops are slightly narrower, and he loves playing and chewing in it. It is nice and soft and flexible, jist like the original. The quiet rattle is a nice sensory addition. It is bright and colorful, easy to hold, easy to use a pacifier clip to attach to him or his playmat, swing, or seat. This is a great toy company and I will probably my be purchasing others!

I really like these as a teething toy for a baby. The bright colours, friendly animal faces and rattle are engaging for an infant. And the multiple soft plastic loops are good for chewing on. The loops are different sizes so bub can always find one that gets to those sore gums at the sides and back. My kids spent quite a lot of time chewing on these while in their pram. I also bought several as gifts for friends' babies - they make a good baby shower gift that's unlikely to be duplicated.

My 4 month old grandson loves this! Would highly recommend.
