Prewired 9 Tone Guitar Control Plate Assembly, Loaded 3-way Blade Switch Double Push Pull Potentiometer Pot Speed Knobs to Flexible Pickups, Chrome-09B

This control works great with the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickups in my custom-made Telecaster. The 3-way blade switch is smooth yet secure. In the middle position, which uses both neck and bridge pickups, the volume knob is push/pull toggling the pickup input as parallel or series. The tone knob is also push/pull toggling the input as in-phase or out-of-phase. The push/pull has no effect when running the neck or bridge pickup individually. I love the tone flexibility this gives my Tele! I would/will buy and recommend this Lamsam product.

I've reviewed Lamsam prewired sets before and they have never failed to please. Don't let the low price or manufacturer dissuade you. The wiring is first rate and they use first-line parts including full-size pots from CTS and other quality parts. I prefer to do my own hand wiring, but these sets are a great time and money saver for any build.

Very easy to install. Great upgrade for any low priced clone.

No installation instructions with the item. Instructions online tell you to connect the red wire. The wires are black or white. Wire insulation is some weird combination of cloth and plastic that is almost impossible to strip. You either get a fuzz ball at the end you are soldering or the entire insulation slide off of the wire. First unit had a defective switch, the neck pickup only worked in the middle position. Second unit arrived promptly, still no red wire, this one works, but the push pull phase setup does sound like it does anything. Would not repurchase

Defective. Double checked wiring. Tone pot when pulled up shorted all pickups out. Poor quality pots wobble and scratch. Very disappointed.

Fast shipping. This is built with upper end pieces. Works and feels good, the sound is very subtle.

I recieved the 9 tone control plate. Looks and feels like a quality product. I've wired many, many guitars. Telecaster are very easy to wire. After wiring up this control plate, it simply didn't work. I was trying to do this quickly by purchasing this product, but it didn't work. I've checked the wiring against the schematic provided, it all checks out 100%. Maybe a bad push-pull pot, bad cap, I don't know. I wired up traditional controls out of parts on hand, my controls worked. So the pickups are good, the switch is good. I haven't had the time to delve into why this setup doesn't work. I wrote to the provider, didn't get much help. I really want this 9 tone control plate to work
