I will confess, this is not the first balisong bottle opener I've owned; I mistakenly left my other one behind when I moved last, but it was always a hit at parties. You will likely bang up your knuckles while learning how to operate this effectively, but you'll have fun doing it.Worth noting, simply opening a handful of bottles with this will likely scrape the paint off of the tongue of the opener. While on that topic, I find that the opening mechanism is not optimally designed and frequently the head will slip off before the cap is fully removed necessitating a second pass.

It’s really good at making you look cool, as it’s not stiff and has good lubrication for movement but it’s a terrible bottle opener. It’s great for learning new moves but don’t expect to look like you know what you’re doing when you try to open up a bottle behind the bar.

I like the idea but the bottle opener is too small, cant open a bottle from the handle, have to hold it awkardly to get it open. Not much point trying to look cool if you cant open the bottle on first try
