I bought this mattress to replace an older one, looked at reviews and they seemed really good, still i was a bit sceptical mainly due to the low price. When mattress arrived it was immediately obvious by the weight that it packed a punch due to the weight alone. I placed rolled up mattress on bed base, cut through the plastic wrapping and the mattress sprang into shape almost immediately. No chemical smells or odour at all which i really liked. Quick test and it seemed really sturdy and supportive yet soft enough top layer to be comfortable. After a couple of weeks sleeping on it I can honestly say it's a fantastic mattress, as good as the €800 mattress i have on my other bed. Outstanding value, the price i paid for this would only buy a rubbish mattress in my local store. This feels like premium luxury at a extremely good price. I'll keep this short and simple in the hope that others with back injuries can benefit, as it's almost impossible buying blind when it's such an important choice:I weigh around 14.5 stones (very active life/healthy vegetarian diet) but sometimes heavier when adding muscle.I have a multitude of injuries (motorbikes) and have both a medium-soft memory foam mattress, and a firm sprung mattress (different beds in different rooms). This last year my back ache/neck ache/shoulder pain has really tested my patience so I spent weeks reading info regarding another mattress that would hopefully encourage a full nights sleep without too much discomfort and a mid-sleep journey to the kitchen for some more painkillers.-This mattress is exactly that. Firm enough that I don't sink into it and resemble a soup ladle, though soft enough I don't end up with severe neck-ache when sleeping on my stomach.I'm overwhelmed at the rest I'm now getting due to this mattress quality, and as it cost less than £200 it's un-rivaled value. Even if this mattress only lasts a year it's absolutely worth every single penny, and it shall be replaced with the same again.The memory foam mattress is to be disposed of now that I'm aware it worsens my discomfort, and the firm mattress is to be replaced most likely with another one of these from vesgantti (we did buy a replacement).The sole purpose of my review is to help the decision of other buyers in the same position as me, those people who are lucky enough to be injury-free simply cannot understand how desperate we get for a good nights rest and how this impacts day-to-day life and really ruins our mind-set.+++It's been O V E R A Y E A R or so of sleeping on this now and I have to add that I still look forward to getting into bed. Absolutley perfect for me, so much so I'm going to buy another one and store it until needed for when my current one wears out.+++ We also replaced our other mattress for one of these as it really is that good. I should be an ambassador for these :-)I bought this on May 25th 2019, it's now March 2021 and the mattress is still perfect and I still sigh with relief when I go to bed and get comfy.I bought a pair of Noffa pillows too which work really well. No more neck ache !! Yiiiiiiiiiippppppppppppppeeeeeee!*This month (March 2021) we bought a delicious super king size ambassador bed frame (I feel regal), and the: Vesgantti 6FT Super King 27CM Pocket Sprung Memory Foam Mattress with Foam Layers and Pocket Springs. They don't make the above reviewed mattress in the super king size so I took another gamble with this brand and it's paid off nicely. This mattress is currently their most expensive offering and honestly the best nights sleep I've had in almost ten years. Honestly. I slept for almost fifteen hours straight. I've been in such a good mood today due to the enormous amount of rest I've had.

Great value for money and so nice to sleep on. I suffer from chronic back pain and arthritis and have been sleeping in my sofa as it was easier to get up from. The mattress is quite firm but extremely comfortable to lay on and is very easy to get up from for me as it's 11" high. I still have back pain but it's greatly reduced compared to my old mattress. The build quality is of a high standard and matches the quality of beds costing substantially more from the large retailers.

This is the 2nd mattress I had bought without trying it out first. The 1st one was a silent night mattress. After 5 years it had really degraded in comfort. I was having really bad lower back pain and I think the mattress was making it worse.I looked at the Emma mattresses first but I just. Couldn't justify the price for a mattress that had such mixed reviews. I carefully looked at the reviews on here and decided to go for it.When it arrives it was vacuum packaged and once opened fully gained it's shape. It says to leave it to air and gain maximum shape. I didn't notice any significant smell (and I have a sensitive nose) and I think allowing it to air helps (don't put sheets on it). I actually laid on it straight away and immediately could not believe how much it relieved the pressure points on my back. I laid there for 5 minutes and had no back pain.I was concerned at first that it would be a bit too soft for me as my previous mattress was firmer (medium/firm) I'd say this one is medium. Well I can't tell you what an amazing sleep I had that night. In the morning my back pain was on a scale of 2-3 rather than a 9/10. As the weeks went on the back pain and stiffness diminished and I can say that I have done no physio and I'm not taking any pain meds. It's literally amazing what a new mattress can do and this one has really exceeded my expectations.I gave it a few months before reviewing in case I changed my mind but I've become more and more impressed. I sleep so well on it. I've seen reviews saying the edges are really soft and seems to collapse when you sit on them. This does not happen when you sleep on it and if you need to sit on the edge just park you bum back a bit further!I don't know how long the mattress will last but 5 years at least would suit me. I recommended rotating it every 1-2 weeks so that it maintains it's coils/foam and it's not heavy to move.It is worth every penny and I'm really glad I bought it. I recommended it.

The reviews I read were quite mixed, but we were desperate to replace the mattress at our parent's house. We are so pleased with this choice, and it came in a box! It is as comfortable as our home mattress at a fraction of the cost. I suffer with arthritis in my spine, with bad hips and sciatica, and we always travel with single memory foam mattress toppers. Together with this new mattress we are getting a great night's sleep at long last. We will definitely look at this option when the home one needs replacing.
