Great kit
Great little kit, the wire stripper tool is a bit cheap but with everything you get for the price, it’s definitely worth it.

Does not heat consistently. Intermittent failure. Flashing readout right out of the box.
I confess I never have been very good at solder things. So I decided I would get a good/complete starters kit and start watching YouTube videos and learn how. Practice and all that until I understand it thoroughly. But this kit has been completely unhelpful and near useless. The soldering iron temp controls only blink the C (for Celsius) even if you push both buttons and change it the Fahrenheit. Then the heat doesn’t work consistently. Not setting matters. It doesn’t half the time and is too cool 50% of the time when it is making heat. When it rarely is hot enough it cuts off and on and won’t remain consistent. The tips won’t "tin” even if you try different tips. I do not recommend for anyone. Let alone a beginner. The very thing I hoped to avoid it the very head aches I got. Many other things about the little kit are not right as well. I am not sending it back, even though I should.

Bearly melts solder
The soldering gun didn't get hot enough to melt the solder. GET a stronger gun , it bearly works.
