This knife is beautifully crafted and worth the price.
This is one awesomely handsome knife for the money. Damascus steel usually costs more. It is a beautiful blade, sharp, fits in the hand well and opens really smooth. Lock button is an absolute plus.

Unrivaled at its price. My new Edc.
**5/5 Stars - Exceptional EDC Knife - The ELF 2 Stone Washed is Pure Perfection!****What Makes the NedFoss ELF 2 3.3" Stone Washed Outstanding:**- **Premium 14C28N steel blade:** Superior edge retention and corrosion resistance, hardened to 58-60 HRC for the perfect balance of sharpness and durability- **Gorgeous stone washed finish:** The stone wash treatment gives it that distinctive muted luster with fine parallel lines - looks absolutely stunning and hides scratches beautifully over time- **Exceptional build quality:** Button lock mechanism is incredibly smooth and secure, with perfect blade centering and zero play when closed- **Perfect EDC size:** 3.28" blade length with 8.08" overall - ideal for daily carry without being bulky- **Premium G10 handle:** Lightweight yet durable with excellent grip texture, feels substantial without being heavy at just 3.66oz- **Flipper deployment:** Lightning-fast one-handed opening that's perfectly tuned - not too stiff, not too loose- **Deep carry clip:** Reversible design sits low in the pocket and never snags**Real-World Performance:**This knife is absolutely phenomenal. The 14C28N steel takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds it through heavy use. The stone washed finish not only looks fantastic but is incredibly practical - it develops character over time while hiding wear marks. The button lock is one of the smoothest I've experienced, and the flipper action is perfectly dialed in.**Fit and Finish:**The attention to detail is remarkable for this price point. The blade centering is perfect, the handle scales are flawlessly finished, and the overall tolerances rival knives costing twice as much. You can feel the quality craftsmanship in every aspect - from the smooth pivot action to the secure lockup.**Why This Stands Out:**NedFoss has absolutely nailed it with the ELF 2. The stone washed finish elevates this from a simple utility knife to something truly special. It's a gentleman's folder that performs like a workhorse. Whether you're using it for everyday tasks or just appreciating the craftsmanship, this knife delivers on every level.**Bottom Line:**This is hands-down one of the best values in the EDC knife world. The combination of premium materials, excellent fit and finish, beautiful stone washed aesthetics, and flawless functionality makes this an instant classic. It punches well above its weight class and competes with knives costing significantly more.**Would I buy again?** Without hesitation - this is EDC perfection!

Elegant, Well-Made, One-Handed Easy-To-Open Non-Assisted Knife
I was very curious about the action of this knife-- how could it open easily with one hand without spring assist? I do have a small collection of knives, and tend to collect those that have unusual actions. For whatever reason, I had never heard of ball bearing pivot knives before. My own experience is consistent with the most positive reviews here: It opens REALLY easily, as effortlessly as any spring-assist. The engineering is quite impressive. I spent over $30 on this, and feel like it was a fair price. Build quality is outstanding, no side-to-side play, nothing asymmetrical, no loose screws or uneven parts, blade is almost perfectly centered. I have also dropped this from above hip height onto a hardwood floor-- not a scratch, absolutely no damage.Hey, assisted knives can be too intimidating for some uses. This is a great choice for a family backyard BBQ, or some work functions, where you don't want a knife that opens with a loud snap that attracts a lot of attention and you don't want to give off a thug vibe. It may even be legal in some places where spring assisted knives are not, but check the (probably arcane and incomprehensible) laws for your town, city, state, country, and/or planet. The liner lock is solid enough that I suspect it would do quite well if it had to be used for defense-- I don't see this thing folding back on your fingers, though anything is possible, and I suppose the most reliable knife for SD would be one with a safety. It is almost elegant looking-- I almost wish it had a wood or bone or MOP handle, but whatever material the handle is made is probably just right, certainly scratch resistant and lightweight. One reviewer commented that it opened in their backpack-- I have not tested this, but I can believe it, because the spring holding the blade closed-- if there even is one-- is relatively soft. I would not keep this in a backpack or tackle box, and I'm not carrying it biking or skiing, but it feels totally safe in my pocket, has not opened even partially, not even once.Overall, great design, and a great choice for settings where you want a capable, one-handed EDC that won't frighten the children (too much.)

Great value.
Solid and sharp right out of the box. My friends have all bought this once after checking out mine. Well balanced and sharp. It's my EDC knife. I also bought the Beast and the Swan models.

Very nice!
This ELF Ned Foss pro is a super nice knife. It's very light! It has a sturdy, tight, and long clip. You will forget it is on you! It's a PERFECT size if your hands are medium. The blade shape is perfect. Solid lockup. No safety lock, so be careful not to push the button which is not recessed at all. This is a knife for people who know how to use knives. Well worth the price at sixty $.

Great buy!
I'll keep it simple. It's absolutely worth the money, the blade came decently sharp, g10 gives great grip, it feels good in the hand, the lock works like it should, just an all around great knife.
