This compact foundation is so surprising to me. 6 bucks! Perfect shade match for me. It's so easy, undetectable, works well over any sunscreen, leaves a perfect healthy skin finish (not too shiny, not too matte), blends immediately, and stays put.I don't use the sponge. I just sweep a brush over the compact and apply it in about 10 seconds.I'm just sold. I have reordered several times. It's it.Maybe some things are classic because they got it so right.

I was pleasantly surprised that this covered as well as it did. I’m older and had given up on any decent coverage that didn’t looked haphazardly spackled on. I still have acne and scars. It covered everything up. The sponge provided works well. I like the compact (the top of the compact is hidden behind the product in the package). Cannot beat it for the price and if you don’t like it, you haven’t spent a fortune.

I’ve been wearing this for a really long time. There are many colors and it applies full coverage. Sometimes I don’t like wearing bronzer and I’m not good at contouring so I’ll buy a darker shade and a lighter shade to apply as contrast for a softer look.I’ve been wearing this so long but I still try other products out there. However, I often find myself coming back to this compact. It’s affordable, easy to apply, it looks natural if you match and blend, it’s lightweight. The quality is probably the best in comparison to others in the same price point.

Color appears darker compared to liquid foundation. I purchased my first compact in store to see what it looked like when applied. Goes on creamy smooth, covers quicker than liquid makeup, transfer resistant and natural looking. Yes the cover for the compact is backwards to show the product in the packaging, simply unsnap turn it around and snap it back on. Super easy to apply with the small sponge applicator. If you plan to carry it in your purse I'd suggest a rubber band around the compact since it does open easily. Just shy of 73 years old, it covers any discoloration and looks flawless. This is on my subscribe and save to make life easier.

I ordered this hoping to find something lightweight I can use now that it's getting warmer out. While it does feel nice and lightweight on the face, and it doesn't irritate my skin (I also ordered it because Covergirl products don't cause my skin to act up. Finding something that works with sensitive skin isn't the easiest thing), the color is completely off. I'm a very fair skinned woman. It's hard enough to find a foundation that isn't too warm or too dark to begin with. I chose Buff Beige because it looked like the lightest shade from the photos in the listing. It's a much darker shade and looks more orange and muddy than the fairer color shown in the listing. Because I've used it already, mostly to test it and hope that maybe rubbing it in would blend it out more (it didn't), I'm not going to return it. When in doubt I can always use it in combo with concealer, even though I was hoping to cut the amount of product I put on my face with the weather warming up. But if you're on the lighter side skin tone wise, don't be fooled by the images in the listing. Buff Beige is much darker than it looks.
