Reliving my childhood
I grew up drinking this as a child in the Bahamas. I was so happy to have found it online. Its a great source of vitamin C and nothing beats the taste of Blackcurrant (not even grape juice). Mix the concentrate to your desired sweetness and enjoy.

I don’t recommend Ribena black currant.
I don’t recommend Ribena black currant. It was advertised as a black currant concentrate but when it arrived the bottle ingredients list it as 22 percent juice, also containing fructose syrup (from wheat and maize) no concentrate even mentioned on the bottles. The product also had coloring and preservatives added to it.True black currant concentrate has many health benefits, but this Ribena is no health food but is convoluted.I tried to give it to the wild pigs ( javelinas) here in Arizona but they wouldn’t touch it, so I dumped all $60 plus dollars out on the ground, perhaps the piss ants can use it.This Ribena black currant might have been a good product at one time but probably sold out to some unscrupulous food conglomerate.I hope this information helps so you don’t waste your money like I did on this product.

this would be fine.
WARNING: This is not a concentrate. This is JUICE FROM CONCENTRATE. It is not the same thing. Had I wanted juice, this would be fine.

Is this description right?? And what about 12/case notation?
Is this description right?? And what about 12/case notation? The bottle does not say "concentrate" and if it is then this liter is a really good price.

My husband loves it! We first tried it when visiting England, and he's hooked on it. This is the real deal, the exact thing we had in England. It is quite delicious!

British expats enjoy taste of home
Squashes or cordials (concentrated fruit flavored syrups you dilute with water) such as Ribena, lemon barley water, and orange squash have been popular for decades ( probably centuries) in Britain. Ribena is the king.Yes it's full of sugar but it also has blackcurrants and vitamin C, and you can put more or less water in as you choose so it can be much less sugary than a soda.Mostly we buy it because it reminds my husband and I of home.
