I’ve tested the ammmonia strips on three separate tanks and they all came back “safe”. I also tested one in a bucket of dirty fish tank water (from a big water change) that had bio film, fish waste and plant matter in it, and that one also came back as “safe” when there was NO way there could be hardly any ammonia in that bucket.So I don’t think the ammonia strips are accurate at all, or maybe I’m just not doing it right even though I’m following the directions on the bottle lol.The other strips seem to be more accurate so it wasn’t a complete waste of money I guess 🤷🏾‍♀️.
