WITH REACTION TACKLE, YOU CAN WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE…EXCEPT YOUR LINE!!!!
Being an avid angler, I’m always in the need to resupply with more line, lures, weights, swivels, and a myriad of other related equipment needed to be a serious angler with serious talents and methods to either sharpen or possibly perfect!! Lone piece of kit that fishing seems to, little by little, consume is fishing line!!!! IT’S JUST A FACT OF FISHING!!!! Over the years, some anglers find a line they like and stick with it forever. I’m more of the belief that talents takes a bigger part in fishing than some equipment. I do have favorites that I’ll turn to, but I would consider myself a shopper of price to performance ratios. I’m not afraid to try new products, and often I do to report my findings right here on Amazon. Reaction Tackle is one of my favorites when it comes to braided fishing line, and while it’s not always the cheapest, there are times I spend a little bit more for “the good stuff” attached to my reels and rods!!! WE All BREAK DOWN ONCE IN A WHILE!!!! Reaction Tackle does put out a very high-quality braided fishing line in both four strand and eight strand varieties for your fishing pleasure!!! They do produce a Green Camouflage Color line that, in my opinion, seems to almost blend in and seem invisible when in the water. The coloring seems to be the right combination of hues that fish just don’t seem to see or aren’t bothered by it because it looks like it belongs wherever you cast it!!!! While all braided lines have similar characteristics, there are brands that put more research, study, testing, quality control and actual field testing to ensure the product they sell is the best you can purchase. Reaction Tackle is the kind of company that painstakingly puts everything they have into products that perform unlike many other inferior brands. Their braided line is always super-strong because they are made with one of the strongest woven fibers on the planet, and they never change their basic core ingredient no matter what they have to do to to procure it!!!! The company is always looking to make their line better for than any other by always researching other factors that make up a line like abrasion resistance, coloring, stretch reduction of their fibers, a nod the overflow all utility of their braided line. This 20 pound test 4 strand braided line is one of my pet-peeves in my equipment purchases. While this line is rated for 20 pound test, I believe they understate the actual strength of their line. I have used this exact same braided line to land, unintentionally, some killer fish that far outweigh the test rating of this line. One example was spin casting off a jetty in New Jersey. Down in the dark salty water of the Atlantic, I snagged what I thought was a submarine!!!! I had a 90 foot heavy medium rod with this 20 pound test line that I was certain would break if my rod didn’t break first!!! It was a long fight that had my arms aching, and when my catch cleared the surface, I was looking at a very large sand shark looking to eat my line, my rod, gathered rocks on the jetty, and a couple of other fellows fishing. I dragged that shark up without every touching my line onto the rocks. I didn’t have a scale with me, but another angler happened to have one that went to 30 pound. We put he hook into the sharks mouth and the scale topped out at 30 pounds and would have kept going if it could!! The guesstimate of the shark was approximately 40 to 45 pounds give or take!!! This Reaction Tackle held the line with more than 45 pounds of shark attached to it without a hiccup!!! My hat is off to Reaction Tackle for their beyond supervisor braided line!!!! We snapped a couple of quick pics and cut the shark loose to swim the seas again!!! I can’t sing enough praises about Reaction Tackle!!!! I most joyfully rate Reaction Tackle a solid 10 out of 10 (plus a little fraction more) because their product line is diverse, their line is always made to exacting specifications, their assortment of camouflage line is technically superior, their listed test pound on their lines (only in my opinion) is higher than listed, and I have never….NEVER lost a catch because of a Reaction Tackle fishing line. I have has reels quit, rods snap, hooks bend….but I never had a line from this company fail me ion any way!!!! I recommend their braided line to an angler who wants to worry about anything else….except for their fishing line!!!!! Happy, happy fishing adventures to all the anglers here on Amazon!!!!!!

Forever sold on reaction tackles braid.
Well... I was downgrading my line a bit to this 10 lb test because I wasn't getting the cast performance I liked on my previous line. Tested it with my spin lures and the cast improved quite a bit. Decided to rig up a trout drop with a marshmallow and see if I could snag a quick trout. I am forever sold on reaction tackle line (which I still have on my other rods as well but a higher test). Within 20 seconds of the bait hitting bottom a carp grabbed it an ran. No problem.except the carp was pulling line from a 12.5 pound brake on the 10 pound test. Once I managed to coax it about 70 feet down the dock line to the boat ramp where thankfully someone brought their net (as I wasn't planning on catching anything big) we saw it's actual size. Just under 14 pounds and the 10 pound test at 12.5 pound brake on the reel. I am forever sold on reaction tackle braid after this.

Reliable
I put this string on an ugly stick GX2 with a Penn 4000 spinning reel. The color advertised is the same. I am able to pack on much more line than mono and I can cast so much further! Surprisingly accurate casts. I tie a 50lb fluorocarbon leader for bigger/teethy fish and haven't had a line tear yet. Stringing it on the spinner reel was just like mono or you can even throw it on a conventional reel. The string feels very thin but it is surprisingly strong. Getting the 500 yards was perfect for another reel I had. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Works
Great braid withstands a lot of abuse only problem I have with it is that it fades after a couple uses it’s not the same nice camo anymore u till it gets wet then it shows better but I expected a little bit better with the color on a high quality braided line I posted 2 pics of what it looks new on bait caster and used on my spinning real after 2x fishing…coloring sucks line is very good and smooth using 65lb

Meets expectations so far...
8 Strand Blue Camo 120LB 500ydI doubt the color will last. The pic of my thumb was after I had wiped it off.The Penn Squall 60LD is "supposed" to handle 610 yards of 130# braid. Considering that number is based off of a "perfect" winding, 400 to 500 yards is probably more realistic.I soaked the line in water for about an hour before spooling the reel. I then used a couple of concrete blocks laying on the rod through the spool for tension. (Guestimate - around 25-30lb drag?) I didn't measure it, but when the reel was full, I still had quite a bit of line left over from this "500 yd" spool so there's a good chance that there is more line than advertised.I haven't used the line yet, but I expect it to meet my expectations.

If you are fishing through brush or for larger fish this is what I would recommend.
Pulls bait & fish through grass & some thin underwater branches very nicely. I fished the same sinking bait for 6 hours & never lost the bait. I would highly recommend this weight & color.RTB

Good as Any
This is probably the third time I’ve gotten this braid. Have to say only got it because it was cheaper than a lot of them out there, and I only wanted it to put on some of my cheaper smaller combos. I have to say I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the quality, lack of problems with it. My only gripe is the color/lb test I wanted to order was out of stock.

65 lb. Fishing braid
This line is very strong and the color doesn't fade on it. Have it on both my reels and have caught several catfish and it's still just as durable as when I first used it. Very good product and would highly recommend this .
