Since moving to natural, mineral based sunscreens, it's been tricky to find an affordable and effective sunscreen that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Well this sunscreen seems to fit the ticket. I run several days a week and there's never a day that I don't apply this sunscreen to my hands, arms, face, and the back of my neck. And as a ginger, I am very particular about the effectiveness of my sunscreen. This sunscreen has never let me down.Some might complain that this goes on thick and white. I actually like that it goes on thick and that you can see where it is so that you make sure to get even coverage. But if you rub it in, the whiteness quickly dissipates. It holds up very well against sweat and can be easily reapplied if need be. I'm pretty sure that this is my go-to sunscreen from here on out.

We try to get the kids to protect their skin and Royal Sunfrog seems to do the trick without irritation my son's skin - as most sunscreens seem to. Buy the larger stick to save $.

Glad I found this reef-friendly sunblock option. My stick doesn't explicitly say "reef friendly", but it does say "vegan" (note: do not eat!) and its active ingredient is zinc oxide rather than several different -zones or -salates, so I'm pretty confident that the coral will be fine with me using this.It spreads on white-ish, but easily rubs in clear. I use the stick like a paint brush up and down my skin, which is also easier than squirting out a cream then trying to evenly distribute it all over.
