I have a 2015 Ultra Limited and I began to get neck and shoulder pain during and after long rides. I quickly determined it was my handlebars giving me an awkward riding position being 6’ tall. I began shopping for replacement bars and noticed all the concerns with the heated grips being applicable for most bars and not for others. I leaned towards the Paul Yaffe 12” pre-wired bars and had them in my cart along with my polyurethane bushings and clamp. Somehow, I ran across the Dominator brand bars at a significantly reasonable price compared to $499 on the Paul Yaffe. I’m normally not one to write reviews, good or bad, but to all my motorcycle loving family, this might be a huge help in your decision making. I chose the chrome 12” Meathooks and I can’t be more satisfied! The quality is just as advertised. I was actually able to do a bundle, with the handlebars, the bushings, wire extensions and a clamp for $348.00! I chose to use the wire extensions but they aren’t needed, I just preferred my wires to not be snug. Even the wire extensions are plug and play. The great part about the bars is that there is absolutely no slag internally which makes feeding your wires thru an ease compared to the horror stories you hear everyone talk about. I love my bike and I love to ride, so if my review of this product can be some help in decision making, please take my word, you won’t be disappointed. The kicker is not only are the bars great quality at a good price, the customer service is spot on. I called to verify that heated grips would work and got accurate info on what to expect once my bars were delivered! Save a little money but keep the quality look and use the extra cash for gas to keep riding!!!

These bars are super nice, fit the bike well and get compliments all the time! Getting the wires to feed thru the 90 bend is tricky. Had to remove the two small connectors and solder the wiring instead, on the throttle side. If you do that from the start you will save an hour of trying and doing it after giving up like I did. All of these designs are similar, in that regard, but Dominator has made it less expensive to get a quality product on your bike!

I sent this product back after spending 8 hours trying to pull wire through. I ended buying Fat Baggers 12” apes and also had to replace my throttle sensor because I damaged the old one trying to pull through these bars. Save the headache and buy fat baggers. I pulled all the wire in under 10 minutes.

Very nice product for the money. I highly recommend these bars.

I like the look. I have not installed yet. Therefore I can’t give my opinion on some of the questions. It is a little disappointing that the pre-wire bars for a newer bike is much cheaper than the same pre-wired bars for the year of my bike. That doesn’t seem fair!

I received my bars yesterday and installed them on my 2006 street glide FLHX. Perfect fit and very comfortable with the 12” I went with. Only con about it is that I had to buy extended clutch and brake line. But hey no biggy. You can’t beat the price on them.
